Mare Hotel

Good hotels. The attached restaurant has one of the best Chinese food that we had.

Breakfast was more like a joke. Literally the most basic stuff.

The swimming pool is exceptional, very enjoyable in the mornings, but it is busy in the evenings because it is shared with a night club with the same name as the hotel: Mare Club. Bathroom and amenities are clean and in good condition.

It is quite simply furnished, the rooms get very hot in the evenings as sunlight in Seville is unforgiving, AC is mandatory.

This is more a motel than a hotel, with rooms that let out on to a car park.I paid a decent price for a crummy room, tired old bathroom, noisy air conditioning.

the room was a little bit small, there is no even a small refrigerator inside.the pool was out of order during our stay (10 days).problem of mosquitos starting every evening even in the restaurant.the Hotel couldn't help us to rent a car.

Good value for money. Quiet and large room. Train station not too far away.

Not very central and too many options for food on a Sunday night. The restaurant charged us a service charge for a takeaway which my friend was not happy about.

Staff, the staff where the only thing I liked about this property.

I was really surprised to see they had an ancient likely moorish theme garden in the back completely abandoned and also looks like the sewerage outlets are there… the music in the fake grassed bar area was obnoxious, the breakfast was terrible 1 gluten free option and all the fruit was days if not weeks old. All the facilities need some attention.

The pool is top. Parking also is good. And they speak english

Where do I start? No communication with breakfast waitress had to just get on with it ourselves, dated bathroom although new design tiles no Bath or sink replacement so half a job done.

The adjoining swimming pool club was buzzing on a Sunday hotel included free entry but children not allowed. The bar was cool and reasonable. The hotel room was small but more than adequate for overnight good air con . Parked on road but only 5 euros a night in hotel.

There was no safe or fridge in the room. As we are on a road trip, a fridge is essential, specially in view of the very hot weather at present.We booked a table for dinner with the hotel receptionist for 20.30. When we arrived we attempted to get a bottle of wine at the bar to have a drink and then take it on to the table. Couldn't be done, We then tried the restarant but was told that they couldn't help either, as the restaurant did not open until 21.00! Eventually a member of staff arrived for his shift and helped us out at 20.50. Earlier in the day when we tried to get wine at the pool bar, it wasn't available.

Nice, clean hotel with quality furnishings and decent breakfast. Secure, free parking. Staff friendly and helpful.

A bit noisy (they own a restaurant/club adjoined to the hotel). Location difficult for accessing Seville. We used the train which is a 20 minute walk away, but the service was very unreliable.

Definitely it's not a 4 star hotel. Very disappointing.

Walls peeling off, very loud music from the pool area. Party pool. Definitely not recommend for family stay

the only negative was we thought there was an on site restaurant, and yes there was but it’s opening hours were not to our taste. think you should advise on booking.com of its hours of opening and that really it was a young persons venue. one of the reasons we booked was it’s location for our onward journey and that we could eat without travelling more. As it was we had to get in the car and try to find somewhere local. it didn’t help that it was a Sunday!!!

That I stayed just one night.

That this hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel but it barele diserves 2. The floor tiles in the bathroom were moving and the faucet was loose.The breakfast was horrible, we were woken up at 6am due to the noises from the cleaning van and the cars în the parking lot. I really don't understand how this hotel is rated so highly, it's a joke. Price was really high for the quality of this place.

Location wise it was spot on for us. perfect for the Via Serrana walk.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. Not the worst but not much on offer at 9.15.

The room is always cleaned, people are helpful

A very poor choice for breakfast. Broken blind on the window. No toilet brush...

The only thing to commend it was the pool area, however there was nothing in the information that explained that from 5-9pm this area turned into an 18-30 Ibitha venue. If you wanted to enjoy a drink at the only hotel bar, you had to tolerate the loud, endless noise that passed for music.

Apart from the above, our room was shabby, dated, the sink was cracked and, despite the signage indicating no smoking allowed, the room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke - extremely unpleasant.

The staff was really nice and really helpufull, really clean and confortable bed.

A 4 star hotel should have more amendeties for guests, ice available room service, better TV
