Daisy is a great friendly personable receptionist and manager. The room was fine. The location is excellent with the beach right across the road and the Rattle and Hum restaurant right at the premises. ?
The TV is rather small given the distance from the bed to the TV set.
Pool was great but spa was scary as lots of cracks underneath.
No sinks in kitchen or pool area. No designated smoking area. Also the room we booked was not what we first got but after complaining we were given another room which was great but we shouldn't of had to complain to get it. We also booked a pick up from airport to hotel which was arranged by yourselves and l understand that it was through another company but being that you provided the service was very disappointing as we paid and didn't use because we didn't want to wait 2 hours at airport at 11pm. We had to arrange a taxi that we had to pay on top of already paying for the service.
Loved the location and listening to the waves at night as we slept. The staff were wonderful and very helpful.
The room was basic and the layout made it a very small space. There was only one lounger in the balcony so my daughter and I could not sit together on the small balcony.
We stayed here for 5 nights, Paradise on the Beach is in a great location, its right opposite the beach in about the middle of the Esplanade. Everything is within walking distance. The pool was nice, although a little on the cool side. The BBQ was good and there were some pantry items left underneath that were useful too.
The bathroom is showing its age, some of the tiles were coming away from the wall. A ceiling fan would have been great in there also.
Great location close to the beach and plenty of places to have a meal. Staff were excellent and helpful with a few requests. Nice and quiet at night.
Our room was a little dark with limited windows. However, was comfortable.
Room was clean, tidy, good bed & balcony where could see water from side of hotel. Great spot in middle of everything and across street from beach.
Carpark is not good for larger cars. Angles very small and awkward. Only have bathroom sink for water & to wash up, which you have to wash anything you use.
Rooms nice and big and clean, pool/spa and bbq were really nice too. Nice and quiet, we ended up extending a night.
Tropical style, location , pool, bbq area, balcony, views. The ceiling fan looks good. Nice coconut soaps and shampoo and conditioner. Staff friendly
Everything is good, could go TV in bedroom / wall.
Exellent location; close to the beach.
Since I stayed in the weekend, the pub next door was rather noisy. However, luckily they finished before midnight.
Great location, with ease of access to beach and local bars, cafes and restaurants. The accommodation also had the local bus stop outside which made it easy if you wanted to venture further. Also onsite tourist information, made booking additional trips easy. The cleanliness of the room was top notch and staff were always friendly. The real bonus was a lovely pool and BBQ area for guests to use :)
Some of the interior of the room was a bit tired in appearance.
Love the location, kitchen had a lot that was useful. Bed was uncomfortable though. Spa was not hot was just under warm temperature but otherwise it was a good stay
The hotel is old and needs a lot of repair everywhere. The staff has tried their best to keep it clean but you could see that many items or places in the hotel must be replaced, improved or repaired. The location is good, right beside the beach and the esplanades. There is public bus stop on the other side of the street to bring you to Cairns downtown for shopping if you want to get out of the Palm Cove resort area.
Location Great.Room small and cramped and dark. 103
Room.View - balcony looking on pub roof to the south wasnt grerat.Alarm going off in middle of the night.Noise from pub next door after 111 was a bit much.
Perfect location! Nice room, equipped adequately
The balcony was facing a rooftop, and not very much natural light was present
Excellent location,CLean,STAFF GREAT,Not enough storage room
We’ve stayed there half a dozen times and it’s always a home away from home to us. Conveniently located, comfortable rooms with just the kitchenette needs and no more, guest laundry (means we can travel light), small clothes airer, good beds and pleasant plantation shutter wall out to the balcony admitting fresh air. Just as we like it. Pool towels provided!
A small problem with a dripping air conditioner on the last day, easily resolved.
Great location in a beautiful area.
Noise from pool and bar nearby could be loud at night.
