It’s noisy. There was no one on reception at check in despite it only being 6pm. Shower was terrible.

Perfect location and conveniently has a bar and restaurant right on its doorstep.

Location was great and close to great restaurants and cafes. Location was perfect for an early morning walk on the beach. Room size was also good. I liked the small separate area with the lounge and tv.

I felt that the bathrooms were a bit outdated but they were clean and met our needs for the 1 night.

It would have been nice to have a proper table and chairs.The apartment could use a bit more decoration or a cozier touch.The entrance area looks a little unwelcoming, but that’s mainly due to the closed restaurant next door (not the host’s fault).The Wi-Fi was a bit inconsistent, and there were no instructions on how to connect — we had to call to get access.

Location was great, desk agent was friendly and helpful, room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Water got hot and had great pressure. Pool on the roof is a great plus.

Property was older and a bit shabby. Pool could have been lovely but needs skimmed a bit more often. Felt like walking thru an abandoned business on the beach side was strange. The rest of the roof space also felt abandoned. Could use more attention to details.

Room was on the ground floor. Windows were left open. Next door must cook steak, the room was smelling like meat. Little window looking at the hall area room does not get dark

Lovely position on the Esplanade.Room clean and comfortable

Shame no lift to the rooftop pool. Too many stairs to climb.

The position of the property, every thing you require is at the Esplanade.

1. Access after hours is not as simple as it sounds for the elderly. There is no external lighting that might make things a little easier.2. The car park at the rear is not big enough.

Bed was good. Room was old. Hotel itself was very old and the entrance (plus the dining area being refurbished) was disconcerting.

The location,price and pool.

It’s definitely not a 4 star , you were only given one toilet roll and have to go ask reception for more . The halls are extremely noisy at night when you are trying to sleep.They didn’t refill your coffee and milk in the room

Front of hotel looked old and not looked after. One store front closed in front of hotel. David was great and helpful. Hotel needs a full makeover to compete with other hotels or stays. Probably would look for other accommodation next time we visit.

Staff were very friendly (if unprofessional). Location is A1. Price is right. Pool was clean and well maintained.

Room itself was a little tired but clean enough. Not soundproof. Hotel reception, rooftop, pool area, reception, outside areas were VERY rundown and quite dirty and unkept. Businesses at front of hotel are shut down and derelict. Free outdoor parking.

We love staying here because we can take our dog with us. It's the perfect location we can walk everywhere and it's right across from the beach. We stay here a lot and we love it!

It was close to the beach and restaurants

Needs cover over the pool, as it sits in full sun all day. It's so hot that it's unpleasant
