Sanctuary Palm Cove

The hosts were very welcoming and on the day we were leaving phoned and offered a half hour to an hour late checkout !! Which even though we were on time we had been there for 3 days it was much appreciated! Loved the pool/lagoon/outlook✅

Close proximity to beach, coffee and food and shopping. Lovely pool and quiet location

The property was very clean and spacious, the outside area was brilliant and added bonus having our own pool.

Spacious, quiet, comfortable and well located

When my husband and I entered our apartment we were pleasantly surprised. It had a real wow factor. It was beautifully furnished and very spacious with all the facilities we needed.The location was brilliant, very close to the front beach and all the lovely eating places and shops that Palm Cove has to offer.

The bathrooms need exhaust fans!

Great location to palm cove which is a stunning location . Reception staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for them and great advise for day trips . Accommodation has everything you need for your stay , with plenty of room and very clean . Would definitely stay here again .

The facility was located in a great spot only minutes away from the beach, yet in a quiet and private part of palm cove. We loved the pool area, which came in handy as the beach was off-limits due to crocodiles and poisonous jellyfish.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sanctuary Palm Cove. The rooms were clean and had great facilities. The pool was easily accessible and we experienced no difficulties with crowding at the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided information on the various activities we were interested in. I highly recommend this property.

Spacious, quiet, comfortable, close to village

A very quiet and calm unit very near the pool. You wouldn't have known that there were pretty fierce winds off the sea as the plantings provided excellent shelter. The pool was awesome. We also appreciated the management allowing us a late check out due to the town being shut down on account of a cycle race.

The unit was tired. It was clean but tired. Plenty of room but had eclectic things like the spa bath, in full view, off the lounge! Also the TV was unable to stream content due to the poor wifi.

The rainforest setting with large paper bark and gum trees, wetlands and many birds is amazing. A 25m pool allows for a proper swim. The beach, restaurants and shops are just around the corner. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The size of the apartment was as large (139m2) as advertised with a fully equipped kitchen. Lots of stuff to do nearby (Barrier Reef, rainforest, parks...)

a bar or restaurant on site would have been nice.

From the moment we arrived, the team were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. They offered to keep our groceries in the fridge until our rooms were ready. As we arrived earlier than the check in time we were kept updated and they went above and beyond to have the rooms ready for us as soon as they could. We were able to use all the facilities whilst waiting and offered some great suggestions for places to visit and eat during our stay.

There is nothing that any of the 10 team members did not like about Sanctuary :) Great job guys!

The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was a really good size and it was lovely to be able to open the bi-fold doors on both sides, looking out over the pond.

It's essentially an Air BnB - no cleaning unless you pay for it, no bed made up. After a few days you're essentially staying in a dirty apartment. Nothing in the apartment save for a few tea bags and 2 small cartons of UHT milk. I'd expected a little more.Also no service to carry/transport bags from the front gate to the unit. It's a fair walk with heavy bags and not something one would expect to have to do.

The pool is a tranquil and lovely setting. Unfortunately the sap was out of action due to damage after the floods earlier in the year, however works were occurring to fix this issue.

My only comment would be that having a second bathroom or ensuite would have made things perfect. A second set of bath towels and bath mat too - as things don't dry well in the humid climate. Otherwise we were very comfortable.

Fabulous large well equipped apartment

Loved the feel of the space and the Outlook from the apartment. Very relaxing and private for 5 adults.Wonderful pool.

If anything some appliances ready for replacement.

Very spacious with excellent kitchen facilities and close to the beach and restaurants without any of the noise.

We would have loved a central balcony to sit on as a group.
