    Pros +

    • Location.room style.overall amenities
    • The staff on checkin were amazing. The 2 bedroom roof top apartment was great. We invited some friends for a bbq and it was perfect for that. The kids love the pool. Restaurant was expensive but there are plenty of options around.
    • - The pool is amazing- The staff were really nice (1 or 2 didnt really have a personality)- I was able to check in by noon- The food was really good- I was happy being given a top floor room, even though the palm trees meant I had no view of anything at all

    Cons -

    • Multiple things in room that needed to be fixed. Not major items but for the star rating and room rate were not acceptable.outdoor seating stained.pool area often left with glassware to be cleared away and tables needed wiping. Needed 2 staff in pool sid
    • Can’t fault it
    • - The restaurant options were limited and expensive- The Poolside bar is listed as open 'until late', yet closed at 5:30- The pool is listed as open until 10pm, yet the spa's heating was turned off and cold at night, and the entire pool areas lighting was not on at night.- There are no entertainment facilities like sports equipment, or games to use- Our rooms bathroom light was turned on, and only a massive frosted glass wall separated it from the beds. There was no visible lightswitch anywhere in the entire place to turn the bathroom light off. The glass window glowed like a bright TV all night long. It was only on our last day there that my daughter noticed a 3rd switch on the 2 socket powerpoint, which was hidden under a bathroom shelf that would turn the bathroom light off- My bed was on wheels, and any movement while laying on it caused it to literally roll around on the floor- The wifi was terrible, and dropped out every 10 minutes- The router in the room for the wifi was sitting on the beds side table. It was plugged into the wall behind my bed. Everytime my bed moved slightly(as mentioned above), it knocked the plug and we lost wifi. this is separate to the wifi naturally dropping out constantly

The breakfast was not buffet as we expected. This was fine but we would have liked to be told this in advance.

The resort was run down and needs a lot of maintenance. The facilities are old. The garden is lively and the pool temp is nice.

We rented 3 rooms in total. 2 hotel style rooms and one 1 bedroom with a kitchen in it. The pools, room service, and bar were all great. Location was good for exploring little shops and restaurants nearby. It was quiet and a beautiful tropical setting. It was apparent when we checked in that 2 of them were likely owned by the same person because of decor etc. The 3rd room was decorated a bit odd and smelled a tad musty.

The mattresses were so bad we could feel the springs. I also did not like the creepy shower shows whenever someone takes a shower it's behind a frosted piece of glass so do not share a room with anyone if you don't want to watch them take a shower. Bring an eye mask.

Bathroom could have been smaller and bedroom a little larger.

No chair in the bedroom, for example, to put your shoes on.

    Very enjoyable. Staff very friendly

Parents not controlling their children in the LAP pool - running, jumping, splashing, screaming. Kids just want to have fun but so do other paying guests. Children should have kept to kids pool or general pool.

    Beautiful place, location, clean,

Being Christmas and paying a lot more the facilities were a lot less. Room service no staff knew if it was provided when we finally got it the chicken was not cooked so we couldn’t eat it. No extra towels as stated due to lack of staff. No bin bags or basics for us to clean up after cooking etc. lagoon bar not open but none of this was stated when booked or on arrival. So for paying extra we got a lot less.

    Superb

short staffed at Sea Temple Port Douglas, and here, which has made food service slow.

    Location and decor

Room needed a proper bin, the room service menu and dinner menu were very limited. More variety was needed and catering for vegetarian tastes. The room needed a lazy chair.

Not much, more like a motel than a $350 a night 5 star hotel. Pool nice, but no shade available so it was hot like a bath. Access to beach good.

I let them know in advance it was a special birthday celebration for my partner to get a surprise, but got nothing, not even a happy birthday or card, free drink or upgrade, which is terrible for a 5 star hotel!!!! They gave us the worst possible room, no view only first floor over restaurant. So no benefits of staying there I wish I had booked any one of the cheaper hotels, as he would have been made to feel special. So disappointing, it left a bad vibe. I will NOT stay at a Pullman ever again! The small spa bath was dirty and cracked and could not be filled as only a lie over 50cent plug directly under the tap which popped out when water was run. Also there was a massive window on bath/shower so the other person could see everything when you had to shower standing in the bath due to bad plug! no privacy which was very embarrassing! Room had lots of missing standards such as robes, pen and free water and only one small crusty stained towel each for $350 a night room only!!!!!!!!!!

Resort has a beaut Balinese inspired vibe with 3 beautiful pools set in a tropical courtyard. The bar and restaurant are great.

The late check-in of 3pm was a bummer when you are wanting to rest and relax by the pool. Our room was overpriced for what was a tired and ordinary appointed room. The bathtub is too out of date with an overly high stopover which is not safe and an accident waiting to happen.

Amazing staff that were accommodating and friendly. Clean, modern room with a great location, right on the beach. Good size balcony.

I wish the frosted glass separating the bathroom and the rest of the room had a blind/shutter so it was a little more private.

The quality of the apartment exceeded our expectations and was extremely spacious and everything had been cleaned very thoroughly before we arrived (including the roof terrace). The roof top terrace was awesome and had a BBQ, sink, fridge, sun lounges - a lot more than just the spa we were expecting. The staff were very helpful and accommodating but overall there seemed to be a shortage of staff. The pool was great and the water lovely and warm and we always seemed to be able to get sun lounges. Extra pool towels were freely available from reception. The resort was only a short walk into the main part of Palm Cove. The resort was very relaxed and family friendly.

The quality of the cocktails from the pool bar were inconsistent - the ones during happy hour never seemed to be as good for some reason. The restaurant was closed on 2 of the nights we were there - luckily room service was still available. We cooked one of the nights we were there and found that the kitchen lacked a number of things we needed (oven mitts, a wooden spoon to stir things in the frypan, scissors).
