Quality Resort Parkhurst

Stayed one night on our way back to Townsville. Very impressed with the pool and cleanliness of the resort. We couldn’t work our tv when we first got there but by the time we got back to our room after a swim it was fixed. Our family will definitely be staying here next time!

2 encounter of spiders in the room throughout the 21 days of stay, crew were able to help remove it. There isn't cleaning over the weekends, but all in all cleanliness was manageable.

Large two bedroom apartment, comfortable bed, restaurant on site serving very good dinner, kangaroos visiting in the evening. we stayed for one night after a long drive, and it was an excellent choice.

Good position on the A1 heading into Rocky from Mackay - just off the highway and super quiet.New motel, nice pool, good covered parking in front of your room and free guest laundry

Parking at our door. Very quiet and no main road sounds due to location.Very clean, modern & excellent restaurant.

The customer service was exceptional and very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant food was fantastic and again service was excellent and after a long trip with kids, it was nice not to have to go out to find food. We liked it to much we’re staying again on our way home.

Excellent HUGE oval spa! The main meal we ordered in our room was 10/10.The king bed was VERY comfortable. Clean crisp bedding.Our room was quiet and private. We will definitely stay again.

The desserts we ordered were tasty but tiny and not worth $20 each! When we first entered the unit, hubby walked into the bathroom and almost fell over on the still very wet and slippery floor.The bedside lamps and large mirror were modern and decorative, but so dusty. This was disappointing when overall the room was lovely and clean.

Comfortable king bed quite room

Clean, modern rooms. The restaurant and pool area looked great even though we didn’t use it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very quiet considering it’s on the Bruce Highway.

We have stayed here a few times when in Rocky, and we won't stay anywhere else. Every time the rooms, facilities, staff, and ease of booking and checking in are exceptional. Don't get me started on the food! Delicious. Delicious. Delicious.

Um............. that the pool closes.

Pro's - the reception staff I spoke to on the phone while we were driving there to inform them we we're going to be late and to pre-order room service were awesome and helpfulThe room (313) with spa was exceptionally clean and roomy. Bed was comfortable

Cons - the room service meal arrived cold and the chicken was dry but too late in the evening to do anything about it. We'd just driven 9hrs non stop from Townsville and all we wanted was to sleep after our spa.There were only 2 towels provided, so after we used them for the spa, we had to use the wet towels again after a shower in the morning. Again we left very early (before reception opened) as heading home to Adelaide. So couldn't say anything.Only 1 little milk provided for the coffee pods For the $275 we paid for the night plus paying for an expensive cold meal it was disappointing
