The room is spacious, clean, comfortable & had a view of the river. This was much nicer than just a view of a parking area.

The room was spotless and cozy, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect — easy to find, close to restaurants, and just off the main highway. The bed was soft and inviting, with clean sheets and plenty of pillows. I slept really well and would definitely stay here again!

I stayed in the river-facing room and really enjoyed my stay. The balcony offered beautiful river views, the manager was warm and welcoming, and the location made it easy to find great food nearby. Would definitely stay again!

We had a truly delightful stay! The room was exceptionally spacious, featuring a luxurious king-sized bed that offered ultimate comfort. One of the highlights was the breathtaking river view—we spent peaceful mornings sipping coffee together on the balcony, soaking in the serene surroundings.The space was impeccably clean and thoughtfully organized, equipped with every amenity we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. From start to finish, everything felt seamless and well taken care of.It was an experience we truly cherished, and we would absolutely recommend this place to all our friends. This was my second stay at Midlands Motel, and both times have been nothing less than excellent. The room was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, with pleasant amenities like flat-screen cable television, microwave, and tea/coffee-making facilities. The air-conditioning was ideal, and the bed was very comfortable, excellent for a good night's rest.What really makes this place stand out, however, is the location. It's right on a beautiful riverside walk, perfect for a leisurely walk, and it's just a short walk to local restaurants and shops, so everything is easily accessible. Whether you're staying here on business or for a relaxing getaway, it's hard to fault the combination of comfort and location.The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which added to the overall pleasant and stress-free atmosphere. The entire stay felt smooth and well looked after from start to finish.I’ve been impressed both times I’ve stayed here and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

The cops breaking up some drug deal/ fight in the middle of the night. The room is well overdue for a refit.

I really enjoyed my stay in this room, it was a great experience. The room was clean, spacious, and had a queen bed, and a single bed, which made it super comfortable. The riverside walk nearby was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The location was very convenient, with food places and shops within walking distance. Overall, the room was cozy, well kept, and made for a really comfortable stay. I’d definitely recommend it!

Room was spacious with a fantastic view of the river. They gave me a downstairs room as requested for my elderly father which was much appreciated. Room had a small lounge and dining table.Location was fine for what we needed. Situated on main road, not too far from restaurants on the river.Beds looked new and were clean and very comfortable.Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Bathroom could do with updating and air conditioners needed cleaning.

The room had seen better times. Hot water was a bit unreliable. Strong smell of cooking from neighbouring Kentucky Chicken outlet.

I had a wonderful stay at the Midland Motel in their King Room, which offers stunning waterfront views. The room is spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with a kitchen and a private bathroom—perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Situated on the ground floor, it’s easily accessible and arguably the best room in the motel. The facilities are top-notch, and waking up to the serene river view was a highlight. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient stay!

Unfortunately, our stay at Midlands motel was far from pleasant. While the room itself appeared to be clean at first glance, it quickly became clear that attention to detail was lacking. There was hair in the shower, and we found pubic hair in the bed sheets, which was extremely off-putting. The mirrors and glass surfaces were heavily streaked, making it clear they hadn’t been properly cleaned. To top it off, the sponge left for washing dishes was dirty, which made me question the overall cleanliness. Some of the other guests were undesirable and contributed to an uncomfortable environment that felt unsafe and chaotic, making it hard to relax or even sleep with ongoing noise throughout the night.The door is a simple push button lock, that would open with a shoulder nudge, we placed our esky and a chair up against the door as we felt unsafe. I would not recommend this motel unless they seriously improve their housekeeping, guest management, and overall safety. There are definitely better options for the price. We won't be back.

Close to everything in town and great cafe 2 mins walk by the river.
