Staff and facilities were excellent as was the central location. It was also easy to find. Everything in town including restaurants was within a short walk's distance.

No complaints.

Clean, comfy, treats out, everything covered to make a snack or a drink, sheets seem like cotton and bathroom super nice. The location was a short walk to my venue/outing and the park was quiet, no rowdy people there, all perfect really

Loved the handy location to town, facilities were excellent.

The three bed room was a bit small so the table was squeezed in and there were only two chairs.

False advertising, Misleading room titles, hidden shared bathrooms, and unfair refusal to refund

The room listings for this property are misleading and confusing. On the landing page, only one room is clearly labelled as “with shared bathroom”, which strongly implies the other room types have private bathrooms. This is not true. Several other room types also use shared bathrooms, but this crucial information is buried in the fine print instead of being clearly stated in the room title.I only discovered there was no private bathroom after arriving. When I raised this at the front desk, the owner immediately understood the issue but insisted that “it’s written in the details” and blamed me for not reading everything carefully. I found this response dismissive and unpleasant.The room titles appear deliberately worded to make less desirable rooms seem more appealing, while essential information such as shared bathrooms is hidden in the details. A bathroom arrangement is a basic expectation and should be stated clearly and upfront on the main listing, not left for guests to discover after check-in.When I requested a refund due to the misleading listing, the owner refused, claiming the booking was “non-refundable”. This felt unreasonable and unfair, as the issue was caused by false or incomplete advertising, not a change of mind on my part. By hiding critical information until after payment, guests are effectively placed in a situation where they cannot make an informed decision and are then denied any remedy once the issue is discovered.Due to the misleading information and the way the situation was handled, I would not recommend staying here.

Excellent location and a very comfortable stay.

The steps to the front veranda of rooms 9 & 10 were short and had no back, were coming apart, and were lined with bird-wire (presumably for grip in snow). This situation is a real safety hazard for people who use walking aids such as elbow-crutches, or anyone with unsteady footing actually. These steps should really be replaced with a secure ramp suitable for everyone, similar to rooms 11 & 12.

We stayed in the 4 berth cabin. Very warm and perfect for what we needed for one night on our way from Queenstown to Christchurch. Shared Bathroom's and kitchen were modern, clean and tidy. Very friendly staff too

Kids bunk bed was very squeaky.

It was my first time in New Zealand and we booked this accomodation just for a stop over. I never seen a camp ground this clean. The shared bathroom was exceptional, even the kitchen. I highly recommend this property. The room was also big for a family of five.

Lovely park, staff very friendly. Our cabin was superb, very clean. Easy walking distance to shops cafes restaurant's and river walk. Park was beautiful.

Very comfortable bed plus very tidy, and clean bathroom facilities.

Clean, spacious cabin room, bathroom and shared kitchen. Bathroom cubicles were good sized and have good water pressure. Nice little area for outdoor games and activities.

Deposit required to access and use kitchen utensils, pots, pans etc.

Location, clean, everything you needed. Lovely little camping ground. Great facilities.

Facilities are very clean

No TV in our room. The room was only for sleeping. Not a pleasant place to stay. You need to bring your pots, plates, cutleries etc.
