    Pros +

    • Close the the vineyards and a good price
    • Very convenient to roads to Richmond Ranges and St Arnaud. Nice and comfortable. Super friendly staff, easy check in, nice pub meals kindly delivered to room at no extra cost which we enjoyed very much thank you.
    • No breakfast available but an excellent cafe a few minutes walk away

    Cons -

    • It’s a funky space above the bar. It wasn’t loud and we went to bed well. But I could see it difficult to sleep if they had live music and you wanted to go to bed early
    • Not enough pillows (two on bed and one extra in cupboard), staff were very helpful bringing another to the room but other reviews have commented on this... we shouldn't have to ask 2 people need 4 pillows they don't have to be fancy but just available. Thanks!
    • Nothing, it was just right. Very sad to see it's on the market now.

We stayed here for only one night to bike around the wineries and I must say it was a perfect base for this trip. We asked beforehand if we can have two bikes and they were graciously provided free of charge upon arrival, so we could start our little wine tasting tour right away - much appreciated ?? The unit itself was motel-style with a little kitchenette, nothing fancy but functional and the bed was really comfy. The adjacent pub was also a very nice spot for dinner which I recommend even if not staying overnight. The local Fresh Choice (supermarket) is within walking distance and across the street there's a great coffee spot (Phoenix) with a nice atmosphere for breakfast or afternoon.

Near the wine estates, Bike hire wine tours close by. The Pub below is convenient for a meal.

The Pub is up for sale. The apartment was comfortable enough but needs updating and brightening up.

    Very tidy and clean.Handy location.

The fridge makes a humming noise which was particulary annoying at night.Only 1 pillow each - one more each would have been good.Likewise only one towel each. No heated towel rail so 2 towels each please. No air conditioning, only a small fan so would not stay here in the summer.

Great location and good to be by the pub. Rooms were clean although a little hot as no air-conditioning. Ate in the pub although limited menu it was good. Beer on the little pricey side.Kitchenette only had microwave and toaster which was fine for us. Tea coffee and milk provided. Only 2 pillows but the host was very accommodating and provided more upon request. This was the same for anything that you needed.

    Comfortable bed.

The units are in the carpark frequented by camper vans parked so close to the door we may as well have been in a camping ground. The food at the pub was outrageously expensive and well below average. The property is currently for sale which did seem to affect the customer service; staff preferred to chat among themselves whilst serving, management negotiated employment contracts in the bar while we were trying to purchase drinks….very unprofessional. We will not be back and would strongly encourage other travellers to think twice.

Clean very modern facilities, handy for the pub and exploring the Marlborough wineries.

    WiFi a little intermittent!

Spacious units tucked behind the classic pub. Comfy bed and good showers too. Perfect for a stopover night.

Staff were brilliant. I asked for an early check in and they were incredibly quick to get back to me and very accommodating. Unit was really clean and well kept and it was a great base for a days exploring the wineries.

The Cork and Keg is a simple, no-frills motel offering spacious rooms with a kitchenette. Conveniently, free parking is available right next to the room. The motel is ideally located near the Marlborough wine region, with all the wineries easily accessible by car or bicycle—several rental options are available nearby.

Staff were really friendly (especially the dog ;)). Really conveniently located accommodation, was really clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom was nice and spacious, plugs were conveniently placed.

Only one small down side - I only had one pillow on my side of the bed.
