Outdated furniture. Old kitchen sink This hotel should not be 4 star. Pool was freezing cold and there was not heater.
Not much other than the geographic location
Our room was located on the fourth floor with access from a scary narrow balcony. The room and furniture was old and tired. The restaurant with the motel is the only place to buy food or even a cup of coffee for many blocks. Didn't stay the second night.
I loved the partial ocean view, private balcony, elevator, free shaded parking, and large room (even after I filled it with groceries and several suitcases, there was still a lot of leg room). Beach = block away. North WW trolley = across the street.
They don't change your linens each day. The AC took 8 hours to cool the room the first day. There's no iron/ ironing board in the room. I found black hair on the threadbare towels and pillows. "Bath towels" barely covered a third of my body.
