Delivery of breakfast was awesome especially when you don't want to go from room.
Not only was it dirty. They had the nerve to put me in my family in the basement, a dirty, dingy nasty basement the whole place smelled of smoke and whatever else and then they acted like they didn¿t want to give me back my money,
Honestly.the whole time I was there, they just beat on the roof, the ceiling, got no sleep no apology. there was no respect for me and my guess.sad to say.I will never go back they could have told us and warned us that there was construction,we got No peace

View was very nice, we had a small balcony. Shape of room made it so not much hallway noise disrupted the room.

Some of the staff were very friendly and courteous. The morning staff on Saturday and Sunday of our stay were great.
I am not a critic. The bed was great, the room was clean and all the staff was friendly.
Morning breakfasts rotated between Sausage, scrambled eggs and chopped potatoes to Bacon, scrambled eggs and chopped potatoes. There was plenty of food.

Friendly staff, a quiet room that had a terrace with a water view, and unexcepted extras such as a free supper of help-yourself to soup and salad, and a coupon given at check-in for a free drink at the bar.
The staff was very professional and helpful. They seemed to really enjoy helping guests (not something you experience e very day).
The staff was hands down the best I've ever had a hotel.

Top Tips
- Book Annapolis hotels 6 to 12 months in advance for U.S. Naval Academy Commissioning Week (late May or early June) to avoid sold-out rates, as hotels near City Dock fill first during this event. Many properties reach capacity 9 to 12 months before the event, so check cancellation policies for flexibility and consider hotel loyalty program perks for early access.
- Reserve accommodations 3 to 6 months ahead for major boat shows, including both spring and fall events like the U.S. Sailboat Show, as event dates change yearly. Compare weekday and weekend rates for possible savings, and book directly with national hotel chains for reward points or advance perks.
- Choose a hotel downtown, near City Dock or Main Street, for walkable access to top attractions such as the State House and Naval Academy visitor center, typically within 0.1 to 0.5 miles (a 2 to 12 minute walk). Confirm elevator or step-free access if booking a historic property, as some buildings have limited mobility features.
- Select a hotel offering bundled parking to avoid daily garage charges of approximately $15 to $35 USD, common downtown and at city meters. Several chain hotels provide valet or accessible parking, and travelers with large vehicles should check garage height restrictions in advance.
- Look at Eastport lodging for quieter nights and often lower nightly rates; this area is typically 8 to 20 minutes on foot to City Dock across a short bridge. Explore Eastport's waterfront dining scene, and confirm walking routes and local safety before heading out after dark.
- Check for seasonal water taxi or shuttle services (spring to fall) between Eastport, City Dock, and nearby waterfront hotels, which can reduce downtown parking needs during events. Water taxis usually have accessible options, but confirm wheelchair or stroller access and check evening or off-season schedules in advance.
- When booking historic inns, ask about elevator access or ground-floor rooms, as many older properties have narrow stairs and limited lift service. For more reliable accessible features such as step-free entry or visual alarms, consider booking with larger chain hotels, and verify ADA room availability at time of reservation.
- Request a room away from City Dock or the waterfront to minimize nightlife noise from nearby bars and restaurants, which can extend until midnight on summer weekends. Ask for a higher floor or a property set back from Main Street, and check if the hotel enforces specific quiet hours.
- Choose a national chain hotel, such as Hilton, Marriott, or Hyatt, for consistent business amenities like Wi-Fi and late check-in, especially during crowded weekends. Use reward programs for mobile check-in or digital key options, and verify details on amenities and service policies at your chosen property before booking during peak event periods.
