Econo Lodge Coliseum

Proximity to my destination was great, the gentleman checking me in was very friendly and professional, the price couldn't be beat anywhere. The rooms older furnishings could use updating & newer towels are needed but the cleanliness was EXCELLENT.

I cannot say I disliked anything about this hotel, it is an older dated building but extremely well kept. Clean and inexpensive if you just need a place to stay, this works.

Cleanliness level was good.

No coffee machine in room. Door was bent and dented at the bottom from misuse. No secondary slide/swing-over lock on the door. Shower handle was worn and loose, so water temperature could not be accurately adjusted. Outside walkways dirty & dark.

Service and cleanliness of the room

The location is not the best and people hangs outside their rooms smoking, drinking and making noise.

The room was surprisingly very clean! And the front desk guy was super nice and helpful. Due to there being a large number of construction folks on one side of the hotel he made sure to put me in a room on the other side for a bit more quietness.

Noisy outside from trucks and main road

Check-in was impersonal, since the office was closed (even though it was only 9:30pm), and we had to speak to the staff person through a pant of bullet-proof glass as we stood outside. Perhaps they¿ve had security problems.

Room was really nice. Clean. Comfortable bed. HVAC worked properly. Front office staff and housekeeping staff very nice. Both very accomodating. Nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room...although I did not really need them.

Picture of lobby not accurate. It was a disaster. The listing said that there would be some type of breakfast. But, there was none, not even coffee or juice that is shown in the picture. The front office staff did give me a coffee maker for my room.

The room itself, once I got in it, was clean and modern. It had been recently updated and was in great shape. Comfortable and fine for a one-night stay before going to the airport.

Locks didn't work. Was told locks were getting updated that day so may have just been a one-time thing. Tried to get me to stay in a room where the lock was clearly broken. Next one we went to took 3 times to get in. Staff showed little empathy or remorse

Outside looked rundown, tv was outdated and only worked half the time, strong weed smell, lobby needs work, no iron or hair dryer

No way this is a 2.5 star property. Despite what the description says there was no breakfast offered. You can hear jet noise flying overhead and the door lets light in from the outside. The motel is located behind a gas station and a waffle house.

Location was convenient to Riverfront Park which was our destination. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping close. Room had all that we needed for 3 nights. Staff was very friendly. The outside is nothing special, but the rooms are nice.

Breakfast was lacking, but enough to tide you over.

No closet or place to hang clothing. Air conditioner was inconsistent. It was either too hot or too cold. Although I had thermostat set at 72 unit would cut off and then it would get hot. Then unit would turn on and I would get very cold.

The location is perfect. Great for a short stay of a night or two.

No computer room to use but they do have Wi-Fi. Glad I had my tablet with me.
