Homewood Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport

This was our second stay here. The first time it was a below average stay but we decided to give it another shot. This time the breakfast staff was better and there was much more food and selection.

The pool area was not monitored and there were guests being quite rowdy, the pool was very dirty and there were no towels available.

Was close to event could walk. Had breakfast.

The drain in tub wouldn't stay open. I actually forgot to tell the front desk before leaving

I loved everything about my stay here. The staff at check in was very friendly, the staff I interacted with throughout my stay was all very friendly. The rooms were clean and much larger than I expected. I had everything I needed and very much enjoyed it.

With two rooms, this was a big place. It was clean and very nice.

It is a problem when facilities, advertise having a shuttle, and then don¿t have a shuttle available that night.

The staff and the breakfast. Really loved the breakfast. I also loved the suite. It was nice to have separate living room area with its own tv apart from the bedroom.

Loved the room except the bathroom could use some attention. Mainly the grout in the shower area and around the base of the tub. Made the bathroom feel not as clean as it could be.

Location was great.

The hotel is filthy and dated. I requested a different room after the first one was musty smelling, with dirty carpet and dirty couch. The second room smelled better, but the carpet was just as filthy as the first and the couch was so dirty I covered it

The staff was pleasant, the room was huge, and the location was very convenient.

The room definitely could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly and the breakfast lacked flavor but it was there so we ate it¿¿

Toilet broke on 2nd day. Had to ask 4 times for it to be repaired, took almost 2 days to fix

Some of the maintenance issues,e.g. torn curtain, leaking toilet and sink faucet.

The staff was so very kind and helpful.

The room was not very accommodating for my disabled husband. His scooter barely fit through door. We were at the end of the hall. I wish they could have acknowledged the awkwardness that we were having to manuever it in the hallway.

Hotel was clean and the staff was great. They have great COVID-19 protections in place.

Close proximity. The rooms were also super. Front desk lady was also awesome to work with

Very convenient for me to get to work during hurricane Matthew....close to my job and kept my family safe while I was at work. The hotel held up very well during the storm, we felt safe....

It would be very convenient for customers if the hotel was equipped with a generator in case of a power outage guest would not feel so deprived.

I booked 2 queen beds, was given only 1 king - didn't try to help switch. Makeup stain on the sheets. Cleaned our room and checked us out before we did, or before noon. There is no bar/restaurant/lounge on the property.

Walking through the hallways, the place seems kind of dingy

Loved this hotel. It was very clean and exceed my expectations. I will stay here again.
