    Pros +

    • The hotel is very clean, the room is beautiful, and was very accommodating.
    • Super friendly staff. Rooms are quite big and very quiet. Location is very safe as well. There was water leaking from the bathroom but not a big issue.
    • Centrally located near the Diana Fountain on Paseo de la Reforma, very convenient for exploring CDMX. The front desk staff, especially Gerardo and Juan Manuel, were excellent: friendly, accommodating, and professional. The room was spacious for two people, and the kitchenette was well-equipped (though we didn’t use it since we ate out daily).

    Cons -

    • There is NO AIR CONDITIONING and the showers are cold. There seems to only be enough warm water for a couple of showers per day within the entire hotel.
    • The main downside was the shower design. Water consistently leaked out of the stall and flooded the bathroom floor, requiring us to use bath towels each time. This appears to be a known issue, but it did not significantly detract from our stay.
    • I am more sensitive to noise and due to the convenient location, there was some street noise we could hear from the room. However, my partner who is less sensitive to noise had no problem.

Staff was kind, flat cleaned every day and bed was super comfy. Lots of storage to be organised for the week. Happily would come back!

Location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The suite was beautiful and had a microwave, fridge, stove (although we didn't use), and plates/utensils, etc.

Great hotel. Pleasant staff. Safe. Large room with a good kitchen. The location was convenient to get to Chapultepec park.

The location, the cleanliness, the friendly staff. I found the bed to be very comfortable.

I had a street facing room. I'm used to a very quiet neighbourhood at home so I found my stay to be very noisy. Not the hotel's fault, but it does impact your stay. There is construction nearby. Bring earplugs. Good ones. Certain things need upgrading: the pillows, the blow dryer (vibrated so bad it hurt my hand). The fan in the bathroom needs fixing (squeaked loudly). Etc. I had booked for 14 days, left after 8 days but not entirely because of the suite. To be fair, I never mentioned anything to the staff.

It was a great hotel, the amenities on point, if you needed a stove to cook, a refrigerator to put your beverages to get cold, or a couch to relax. Also the bed was big enough and you have the tv to watch as well.

Only the bed sheets felt a little itchy but nothing that would make me not sleep through the night.

Nice location; extremely walkable to a huge number of places and the area was very pleasant to just go outside and walk around. Room was fine and well equipped with a cute little balcony. Beds were decent and it was nice having access to a kitchen during the stay.

This was by far the most unprofessional and violating hotel experience I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding this property if you value your safety and dignity. One night towards the tail end of our stay we received a noise complaint. After the front desk notified us of the complaint, the 3 of us (not a huge party!) turned the music off and the 2 of us staying there went to bed for the night. The next thing that happened was a knock at the front door with two hotel staff members and two police officers. The police entered the room and accused us of having/doing drugs in a very aggressive manner. They rummaged through our luggage taking items out and throwing them aside, briefly took our passports, searched the entire room, reached into the pockets of the pants that i was currently wearing, yanking everything out and throwing it onto the bed. They stayed in the room keeping us up for hours and making us feel extremely uncomfortable and violated while the hotel staff just remained in the hallway watching everything go down. After they of course found nothing they left and we immediately booked another hotel for the remainder of our stay in Mexico City. It was an extremely aggressive and uncalled for event; if they had any issue they could have called again or simply come up without the police and the aggressive accusations. I can only assume they get some sort of bribe kick-back because it was entirely unreasonable behavior. I highly recommend that you do not entrust your stay to this hotel because it is absolutely not a safe space for you to return to at night.

Spacious close to daily meals and nightlife.

Rush hour noise sometimes get loud.

In one of the evenings the gas sensor triggered. The staff came and inspected and had no clue why this happened. However, they were nice and changed our room so that we can have the peace of mind and sleep. Really appreciate it!

    Location.

There is a lot of construction around the building, 24/7. There was never a moment of silence. Also, even if the construction was not there, I could also listen all night to neighbors getting in late from going outside during evenings. You could always listen to conversations outside of the room. Very, very noisy. Could not sleep well any of the three nights I spent there. Also, the room I was given was in the below level so the room even with all lights on was kind of dark.

It was very nice, clean comfortable , cozy and well located. Only a few blocks from Reforma and restaurants and cafes nearby.

Functional, quiet (back room), well located. Good internet connection.

Lack of handy electricity plugs for laptop and phone.

First of all, Javier (Front Desk) is amazing. He makes sure your stay is perfect (recommendations to restaurants, stores, attractions, etc.). I stayed on the third floor with balcony facing the interior which was beautiful. The suite was spacious, clean, well decorated, and appears to be brand new. Daily housekeeping is included. The rooms must be sound proof because I did not hear any noise from the streets. The balcony is perfect for a cup of coffee, glass of wine, or just listening to the birds. I could not hear any street noise with the balcony windows opened. The location could not be more centered. You're able to walk to many restaurants, stores, and attractions (downtown, Angel of Independence, museums, etc.). The area is extremely safe. I had one minor issue checking out; the Front Clerk (not Javier) wanted to charge me for a coffee capsule and two sodas which I did not consume. The matters was handled and I was not charged. Otherwise, I highly recommend MX Grand Suites.

The Front Clerk (not Javier) wanted to charge me for a coffee capsule and two sodas which I did not consume. I'm sure, it was reported by the cleaning person who needs to be more careful when inspecting items in room for consumption. The coffee capsules should be free of charge for the price of the room. The few sodas, left in the refrigerator, should be removed to avoid confusion of whether they're free or priced.

Room, bed, kitchen, everything was great.

The shower door foes not keep the water in the shower and spills onto the bathroom floor

Confortable room, safe location and located around many dining and cafes. Pillows and bed are very soft!

We stayed here for 6 nights. The suites are big, clean and quiet. The staff are very helpful. There are lots of places to eat close by. We walked everywhere or took uber. Highly recommended.

Really very spacious room, a kitchen with all amenities, quiet and in a good location . All the staff were fantastic - they accommodated our arrival and departure times , gave us great recommendations and the room was meticulously cleaned every day . The location is very good - central but quiet , and with lots of restaurant options around . We would have gladly stayed for a month !

Very impressed with the space and comfort of our suite. Delightful large balcony at rear of building, overlooking peaceful trees and birdlife. Exceptionaly helpful Xavier and Rigoberto almost always on hand at reception. Ideal location on a lively street with several good places to eat very close by. Decent access to main areas of interest in the city.

Nothing really - perhaps a dishwasher would have been nice
