Noise from other rooms

Location was incredible and could not be beat. Convenient having a Starbucks in the lobby. Staff was very pleasant and usually able to get ahold of quickly.

Bed broke and we were responsible for paying the damages; AC unit settings were locked and couldn’t lower temperature; television was extremely inaccessible; amenities were not as advertised (gym, 24/7 access, laundry); bedding did not get changed daily (just remade).

I feel bad that I forgot his name, but the English-speaking gentleman at your reception desk was wonderful. He seemed to be a manager. He was so responsive and friendly.Loved my little patio off the bedroom. Loved that I was close to the exercise room on the first floor. Loved your location - talk about the trees and walking promenade outside your door.Great restaurants nearby. Great walking area in Condesa.

Housekeeping was inconsistent. (did not get coffee or water bottles on some days). The wonderful man at reception (forgot his name!!!) always responded graciously.

The hotel was perfectly located and a haven in a busy city. The rooftop terrace was the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Staff were so helpful and the cleaning team did an impeccable job.

Excellent hotel, beautifully furnished in very modern, clean style. Room was spacious, clean, loved the floor-to-ceiling windows! Very quiet in fantastic Condesa area. Lots of great cafes, restaurants, leafy boulevards. Staff friendly and on-site 24 hours, great for our very late checkin. And baggage storage all day was great, since we didn't fly out until midnight!

Needed better, bigger, hooks for towels in the bathroom. Install a hand-held shower; cheap and easy to do.

Otherwise excellent visit overshadowed by dreadful attitude and uncaring staff/management behaviour at checkout. At checkout lifts were out of order and our party (age 78, 75 and 66) had to carry luggage down multiple flights of stairs with no assistance offered, even when asked. In particular one 78 year old lady had to carry 2 suitcases down 4 flights of stairs from the second floor. She asked a mechanic who was busy polishing the lift entrance if someone could help but was ignored. Appalling, insensitive and unforgivable behaviour and attitude. An excellent place to stay entirely ruined by disgraceful attitude.

Nice room and nice location.

Not as private as I would like but lots of glass. Flooring needs to be updated. It lacked charm - the whole place felt a bit austere but maybe that just the modern vibe.

Spacious room, comfortable king bed, wall of windows, shower amenities, huge towels. Close to amazing cafes and restaurants, felt safe even when coming home late at night.

Everything was near perfection.

Tiny things were big disappointments like bathtub safety. It was difficult to get into tub with small door where tub side/floor angled. There was one safety bar, I needed one or two more. This is a huge safety issue. Also lighting was difficult for makeup. There was portable makeup mirror with lighting, but no place to plug it in unless I bent way over to use it. This was too painful for my back. Coffee pot was too complex to use. The layout of room was odd for gatherings. We had presidential suite but sofa in kitchen did not easily accommodate guests in larger room. The patio seating was not near indoor seating. It was very difficult for my family to gather as I had hoped. We booked place with elevator but needed to climb stairs to get to elevator. Not good for people who expected easier elevator access.

Central location

The facilities were of low quality. For example, I had to basically stand in dirty bath water when I needed to take a shower because the bathtub drain was partly clogged. The rooms were not soundproof and the staff were hard to reach and not helpful. When I complained to them about the soundproof/noise problem, I received a sternly worded letter from the hotel that completely shirked their responsibility, saying it was because of the central and busy location. That may be partly true, but my friends and I were staying in two separate rooms on the first floor and third floor and I could hear them talking and in on occasion sneezing. That can not be attributed to outside noises and can only be because of bad soundproofing work.

Nice roof terrace, spacious rooms, great location

A few minor mishaps - check in was a little confusing, one day the elevator was being repaired which made it difficult to access our room, another night an alarm in a nearby building went off which was really loud (but not the fault of the property)

One of the best hotels and places in Condesa. Service at the hotel is awesome, rooms are clean, spacious and nice. Having a Starbucks on the frisy floor is awesome too…

Customer Service is THE WORST. I needed a receipt because it was a business trip, and they never sent anything. I filled out the form they requested 5 days before arriving, called multiple times and they told me “it is going to be resolved today” … and it NEVER got resolved, no one called me and I am still waiting. This experience will consider me thinking of staying here on my future travels to Mexico.

The staff were incredible. The rooms were very nice. The location was excellent with lots of trees and restaurants.

We love this hotel. The staff are so warm and welcoming. The rooms are consistently well equipped, very clean and comfortable. And the waffle robes and vervan bath products are extra special touches.

This was our second stay at AR218; we love how conveniently located it is within Condesa. The staff are warm and helpful. And the rooms are cozy and well appointed.

Too much cleaning product residue in room. Smelled very strong.
