Aesthetically pleasing but functionally disappointing

Loud street noises, lack of customer responsiveness, small room, inconsistent room cleanliness

The hotel was clean and nice and in a good location. The beds were very comfortable.

We were unlucky in that when we arrived, there was a problem with their boiler which meant that we had no hot water for the two nights we stayed there - our first hot shower was the morning we checked out. I found it pretty disappointing that the hotel staff didn’t proactively tell us about the issue upon arrival (quite an unpleasant surprise after travelling for 12+hours) and the next evening, we had to ask if it had been fixed but it hadn’t yet. When we asked if they would consider any compensation they avoided answering, which I found pretty surprising especially in a hotel costing about £200 a night… hot water seems like the most basic thing to offer. A small discount as a gesture of goodwill would have made a big difference to the overall guest experience.

The rooms were beautiful and the hotel is in a good location, with a lot of nice restaurants, cafes, and parks nearby.

The rooms were a bit small, great for one person but it would have been tight for 2 people with luggage. The water temperature of the shower / sink was also difficult to control (going between very hot and cool when barely turning the faucet handles).

Super comfortable stay in this sweet spot, right in a great neighborhood on a tree-lined street. Super comfortable, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are incredible and made with such pride. Couldn’t recommend more for a stay in the city.

We loved the location, the style of the hotel, the breakfast and the staff were all awesome. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and was in an area that was very walkable to parks and restaurants.

there were some small issues with the the water being TOO HOT, but was able to adjust.

It was really great, like others have said the rooms are a little small when luggage is in the room and the stairs are a bit small. BUT that does not detract from the wonderful stay and I would stay here again.

No advance notice that they didn't have an elevator....we were on the 3rd floor and needed to take 50 steps at least four times a day... the first time with our heavy suitcase. The shower had very hard to control hot water. My husband gave up after one shower, I took 3...we were there 7 nights.

I was very happy with such nice personnel. Friendly and attentive to guest needs. The building is very nice, the layout of rooms and decor. Very convenient to have breakfast, and it was very good, specially the coffee. The distance from Metro made our trip to Corona Capital very very easy. I will go back for sure.

We loved the eclectic nature of each room. The staff were super helpful with restaurants and local attractions.

We knew this before but the hotel doesn't have an elevator. However the staff helped us with our suitcases etc.

Quaint and cozy hotel with a small cafe and delicious breakfast and gourmet coffee included. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the room was very comfortable. The setting would be great for two to three couples traveling together or a family wanting multiple rooms. Each floor has three rooms adjoined by a common area with a kitchenette, dining area and lounge space.

I thought the place is exceptional for the space they have. great personal touches and cool design. Hospitality was good, and staff was friendly. Location is incredible.

breakfast could have been better- we didnt even get to try it on any of the days because typically they took a while to get out.

service - property does not answer emails and phone calls. They promise an adiitonal room for more guest to join, for 1 month did not answer emails and phone calls. I end up calling booking to ask to contact the property. The room they offered was not available when we arrive and our friends had to move to a different hotel. We were travelling from London and that was abosultely not accetable.

The personalization and convenience was unmatched. We also enjoyed their laundry service and the kindness of the staff on property. They exceeded our expectations here.

The room provided was nicer, but it wasn't the room I paid for. I wanted to be able to take photos of my spouse for her birthday near the balcony the room I originally chose had. The rooms are also noticeably smaller than the photos.
