Pros +
- The rooms and grounds are beautiful and clean. There's a nice restaurant on site with in and outdoor seating. The restaurant has great big parrots that are fun to watch and hear. The location of this hotel is awesome! Just a block away from Chapultepec!
- Great restaurant. shouldn't need to ask for milk or cream with coffee.
- The only thing I liked about this hotel was it's location. I knew I wasn't booking a luxury resort as I was trying to go with a non chain hotel. Do not recommend.
Cons -
- I wish they had air conditioning.
- Desk help in mid day.
- Didn't like that my experience started with the hotel not finding my reservation then when found there wasn't a room linked to it l. Didn't appreciate the front desk staff's attitude nor the rooms I was assigned.. The bathrooms in both rooms were full of black mold. I couldntnget the type of room that i booked which was a Jr king suite. The manager looked at the booking and said that the description on booking.con was incorrect and that they didnt have such ammenities. Since i complained about the first room having lots of mold they put me in another room which was a smaller standard size room with a smaller bed. This check in process wasted 1.5 hours and that is no exaggeration. I filed a complaint immediately with booking.com which I am still waiting on a response from their genius plus customer service. Ive submitted photos and had to waste my vacation time responding and talking to representatives from booking as we went back and forth with the hotel.

Great location, friendly staff
Lights in the room were either too dim to be able to see anything, or didn't work at all. There were several random steps in the room, and with the dark carpeting, they were really hard to see in the dark. We had to put our shoes in front of them so that we could see them better. Even then, we tripped several times.
Third time staying at Hotel Park Villa. I LOVE how courteous, professional and friendly the staff is. I also love the proximity to Chapultepec etc. The property is also nice and quiet.
I recognize that it is a no frills hotel- maybe consider a microwave or a mini fridge in the rooms?
Terrible. I stayed there in the past and had a great experience. This time, a year after, it was just bad. I won’t be staying there anymore. Bathroom was not clean and they forgot to leave water bottles- which they usually do. The guy in the reception was remarkably unhelpful.
there’s mold everywhere and the curtains have never been washed. towels and bed sheets are super clean though so there is that.
Old fashion hotel. Like it. I have been there past year already
Need to ask an adaptor to the reception has the old fashion plug did not have the earth thus couldn't work with my international adaptor. ??
Staff was very friendly and attentive. The cleaning staff was amazing. The security guard was very friendly. The Hotel was very quiet in our area. Although you'll have to go through a VERY busy road, there is an access into Chapultepec side close by (5-10 minute walk).
The only downside are the beds. They are a very firm.
Good location, comfortable to reach numerous destinations in Mexico City
Some of the hotel facilities are quite old and need refurbishment.
Location was great, right near the wonderful Bosque du Chapultepec urban forest!
The facilities were a bit shabby, definitely needing some TLC and enhanced upkeep. The bed was also ridiculously hard, which was unfortunatel.
Great, bit older hotel in great area. Quiet aware from main traffic.
Matrass was bit hard.
The location
The A/C was making a lot noise and the shower was hard to have hot water because the temperature was changing a lot , .
Comfortable , clean and excellent staff especially at the reception desk - we appreciated your help
The beautiful outdoors restaurant
No había enchufes de tres para computadoras y tuve que pedir adaptador. Los cuartos aunque limpios me parecieron con oportunidad de renovarse.
- Spacious room- Very nice restaurant- Awesome staff; also helped to organize tours (pick-up at hotel possible)- Great location next to the Chapultepec park; a lot of places and restaurants can be reached within 30 minutes of walking distance- Walking in the night felt safe since there were people around nearly everywhere
- The room and especially the bathroom were pretty outdated- The room was very dark; the bulbs were very weak- Hardest mattress I ever had- The included breakfast was a bit disappointing: 2 slices of toast, butter, jam, fruit, coffee, or tea. But they prepared a plate of freshly cut fruit for us every day. If you want anything extra like an egg, you can only order a complete egg dish from the menu for more than 10 USD.
The location is great
However the room we had was very dated, the walls were so thin, so we could hear everything that was happening in the street and we were woken every time the person at reception arrived at 7am and proceeded to chat for 30 minutes. There is very little light in the room, the shower temperature will randomly go very hot to very cold and then back again
The staff were attentive and kind.
The bed was far past needing to be replaced, and the bathroom very funky.
The room was clean and comfy, location was great and close to Chapultepec Park
One guy from the staff (night shift) was really rude, also, the key to open the door wasn't working properly and that made the guy upset even though it was not our fault
The staff was incredible, so nice and professional. Check in was simple and quick, they took my bags to my room and offered a free security box for me. The hotel also is a great location right across the street from an amazing park and downtown.
The hotel is old and feels like it needs to be refurbished and better maintained. The lighting in the room is very dim with all the lights on. The TV is very old, not HD either. My shower door was barely holding on its hinges almost about the fall off. The room carpet was defintely dirty because my wet towel turned brown when it touch the carpet and tissue paper was also brown when wiping inside of the drawers of the dresser.
