Hotel San Giusto

Room was quite spacious and in good order. Having breakfast in the hotel was great. It came in handy so we didn't have to walk around looking for a place to start our day. Staff was helpful and kind.

The coffee for breakfast was cool. Not a good way to start your morning. The pot appeared not to be plugged into the socket. On the first day we arrived at 10:00 am, the coffee pot was empty. We advised hostess and she brought us expresso.

staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke English. the breakfast buffet had excellent variety. Free coffee in lobby 24 hours. Very clean throughout including room.

the room was noisy from traffic noise from the street and other guests. air conditioning did not work.

The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating and always available online.The apartment was spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean.The surroundings were peaceful and quiet.The location was very good.

Bathroom would need a renovation.. quite used up and moldy.. room quite cold and took some time to warm it up … no parking even though it said parking is available but still need to pay for it extra even if you get lucky and there is availability..breakfast could be better as well but affordable..

I did not like the size of bathroom. The location is not near the center. There were some children running in the hall whole night and whole morning. We could not relax and enjoy our stay.

The Location was adequate but we took pleasure in walking the streets to get into downtown , seeing interesting architecture , discovering small coffee shops and dining restaurants with typical local foods.The room was well maintained cleaned.The staff was very friendly & responsive.

Service was very good. Staff were very helpful. Room was good value. Staff upgraded my room upon arrival which was good.

The breakfast was very good and the view from the room was nice overlooking the side of the Adriatic Sea.

The room was too small and way overpriced for what it provided. The location was so far from the Trieste city center. Walking down to the seafront was okay but walking back to the hotel going uphill was a challenge.

Rooms are not same like on Hotels pictures.The headboard of the bed was dirty and torn. The wall was dirty in many places. The bathroom was dirty and the shower was worn out. The hotel corridor was dirty, stained and torn. The whole hotel seemed to be stuck in the 60s and had not been renovated since then, leaving it a dirty, smelly and old hotel. This hotel maximum is 1 Star not 3. I would not recommend it to anyone.

When I checked out, by mistake, I forgot a bottle of whisky in the wardrobe. I went there the following day to collect it, but they couldn't find it, and I was asked to come back the following day. I went back the following day, and the guy in reception just couldn't care less and was rude.At that point I left because my dad always told me never to argue with stupid people

I ended up in the side of the hotel which had not been renewed yet. The shower wasn’t working properly and in the evening there was a smell coming from the bathroom.

Great hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were nice and clean for the price you pay in Trieste. Area around hotel is nice but it's way to far and steep for walking to the center area. Parking is nice

I was given a room without toiletries and had thought tea and coffee would making would be in room perhaps I misread the website I was kindly given a kettle but no coffee ever arrived the bath towel was small so it just wasn’t quite what I expected

The room was simply disappointing. Carpet stained and disgusting, everything was old and not taken care of. The tiles is the bathroom broken, the whole thing had an air of inexigence. Book somewhere else.

I accidentally booked for 1 person. In the reception the guy asked me to pay more for second person. However, on booking it was way more cheaper if i rebooked it. Since it was just after midnight i could amend my booking. But i know that he could mark us no show for free and make it somehow work. Probably didnt want to deal with it. Breakfast was average, not sure if its worth it. Plus I wanted queens bed and choose it while booking but i dont think it was a queen bed we got. It was basically two separate beds they moved closer.
