Hotel All'Arco

A great place to stay close to all amenities. It is a big climb to get there.

Check in times restrictive; checkout was 10am; 11am would be better

The staff Julia and Walter were extremely helpful assisting us in the navigation of the city, transportation, restaurants and attractions.

Perfect location for our 3-night stay in Trieste! It was not an issue for us, and if it was mentioned, we missed it, but located high on a steep hill, it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Simple but comfortable rooms with a nice-sized shower/bathroom; excellent location; friendly & responsive staff; the small terrace was enjoyable

A little hard to get to but worth the climb.

The Uber was not able to get us near the hotel. You had to be part mountain goat to get there. I am 76 and my friend is 82, we are in reasonable health but not that good. it should be on the website if it is easy to reach.

Everything exceeded expectations: great position, spotless clean, great comfort despite the historical building (win win). The only reason I can imagine for it having only one star in the Italian hotel ranking system is accessibility, which is indeed limited due to city structure.

The structure may be difficult to access, especially for people with motor difficulties

The location was in a historical part of Trieste which was very interesting. The facilities were good.

Only one chair in the room and you couldn't really sit out on the balcony as there was no furniture there.

The check in time is until 7pm and check out by 10am. The queen bed was actually 2 single put together, also the mattress is not comfortable. It’s in the middle of the historic center, which is good, but the access by car is terrible. It’s better not to try accessing by car..

Can't comment on breakfast - we went to a local cafe. Location is fantastic if you want to see Trieste. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Its location is great but the price you pay is that you have to park some distance from the hotel. This was clear at the time of booking, so I have no complaints. If you do go here, its probably better not to bring any large heavy bags into he hotel unless you want a workout lifting them up 57 steps from the car park. We got round this by leaving big bags in the car (the car park appears safe) and just taking small bags into the hotel.

Great location, small but comfortable room…breakfast was simple but very good, great baked goods and good coffee…be sure you understand that the hotel is on a hill, and stairs are involved unless you’re taking a cab

We couldn’t figure out how to turn off the heat, we had turned it as low as we could, but the staff is only there for 4 hours in the morning, and from 3-7 in the evening (we knew this beforehand, but didn’t foresee any questions)…and, as is the case with most hotels in Europe, there is no A/C

The location is ideal, right in the centre. The room is perfect for the value of money. The manager at the reception was extremely nice and helpful.

I loved this hotel. Had real character, excellent location and very friendly staff. I hope to come back again some day.

I am a little claustrophobic so found the lift a bit challenging so preferred stairs.

We had a great time at Hotel All Arco! It's such a cute and cosy hotel, on a very central place in Trieste! The lady at the entrance was super friendly and the room was perfect! Also the view from the balcony was magical!!

Just one little detail. Desk very small and with the wrong light orientation make not possible to work on it I need to move it

Very nice location, just steps away from the downtown pedestrian area, the facilty was clean, breakfast was fresh and delcious. However, don't expect anything salty, everything was sweet as usual in Italy

The mattresses of the beds could have been more firm...

The staff tried to be helpful and accomodating but unfortunately not helpful at all. Only good thing about the hotel is the location which is very central.

The room was in the main area, right behind the reception and we could hear everything in the reception and at floor level, so we could hear everything from the inside and outside, so it was really hard to have any proper quiet. The room just should not exist there, there is no privacy in this room.
