Close to the Danube River, Actor Hotel is 2133 feet from the Gran Boulevard and the Klinikák Metro Station. The historic Old Town is easily reachable as well from the nearby metro, bus and tram stations. Spend peaceful nights in the elegantly furnished and air-conditioned rooms before you set out for doing business or sightseeing in Budapest. All rooms are fitted with underfloor heating. - NOTHING !!!
- Nice spacious rooms but downside was a hand-held shower and main curtain didnt close fully.. Helpful hotel staff. Breakfast adequate. Metro about 6 or 7 minute walk and very handy for Metro M3 for Airport connection E200 bus and central Budapest. I would use again.
Cons -
- It's the worst accommodation I've ever had, I think. It's very dirty, the bathroom is totally unhygienic and there's only dirt on all the walls, it's cold as hell, the heating didn't work and it was only cold and the tiles in the rooms don't help at all in heating the room, the furniture is old, ok, I agree with that, but here it looks pathetic, all broken and cracked and scratched. I don't know under what conditions 4 stars are awarded in Hungary, but here I wouldn't even give 2. Plus, for the 4 stars there are a lot of shortcomings in the room. But the mess, the mess was a disaster. Im stiil waiting at least half of money back !!!
