Clarion Hotel Charlecote Pheasant

A lovely location in the country next to Charlecote park very tranquil. For the three star hotel it exceeded my expectations.. as the room was cosy ,clean and spacious. Breakfast was good not a massive selection but this was good as having too much on offer can result in decision fatigue and waste. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. Its about 10-15min from Stratford centre so not too far. Its also next to a village called Wellesbourne which has a few local takeaways, petrol station and convenience stores which are open up to 10pm.

The room was a bit hot so i had to open the windows.

The service throughout our stay was amazing, and the staff always make us feel welcome. We always love the location whenever we visit, and it is right on Stratford-upon-Avon's doorstep for a day out. The food at dinner service was delicious, and the hotel always has a nice atmosphere.

Couple of stains on the bedding, which has been clearly washed but little bit of double-checking from the housekeeping team wouldn't go amiss. Mattress was quite firm, a topper would help!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was nice and peaceful.

The menu for dinner was quite limited but the quality was ok but the coffee machine at breakfast wasn't working. The decor in our room was a bit worse for wear.

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and always enjoyed it. Comfortable bed and nice room and toiletries.

I stayed in Room 50. The bed was very comfortable, the carpet and curtains and decor all looked very clean and new. Decent bathroom. Good parking. Smooth check in. Great location for Charlcote Park and Stratford upon Avon. Bar and restaurant nicely decorated. Good value for money.

Signage for reception and check in could be clearer. The bar and restaurant staff and the menu on the Sunday night were rather uninspiring, however this was made up by great service and a decent choice at breakfast time.

We came here as we first stayed here around 15 years ago and decided to come back. As we expected the staff were great and very helpful and the location was perfect.

The room were worn and the bathroom was cold. We stayed in the very cold patch and the room was cold. Reception were not able to provide extra blankets and we had to leave the radiator on full to try to warm it up. The bathroom wasn’t really clean. The shower was so blocked it was nearly over flowing. Breakfast was average but I would suggest that you ass to the menu what eggs you offer and that you add fried potatoes instead of hash browns as they were not has browns. Sadly if we had realised how tired it was going to be we would not have stayed, for the price we could have stayed in various other hotels for less with more facilities. We would not stay again

The restaurant area was lovely, clean, good food. Helpful and polite staff.

Great breakfast, and nice room, plenty of parking.

Shower screen leaked water onto the floor and had to use towels to mop it up, also air con didn't work in room.

Me and my fiance stayed here for our anniversary it was our second time at this hotel and the staff were amazing and extremely helpful the woman on the front desk I think her name was Sharon made us guest of the day which meant we had a free breakfast the next morning which was a lovely gesture by the hotel.We had food in the evening in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it, we certainly will be back again very soon thanks again for a truly enjoyable stay Regards Mohammed

The staff were excellent! Really friendly and went over and above to ensure we had a fabulous stay. Location was ideal as we had two little dogs so didn't want to be right in the centre and there were plenty of walks in beautiful countryside. The food was also delicious. We had a fabulous breakfast and also dinner the evening we arrived.

It might have been nice to have some evening entertainment if we didn't want to drive into Stratford.

We had a lovely stay, room was comfortable and clean. We've booked to come back again.

Very nice room, comfortable bed, toiletries included. Teas and coffees. Very good meal in the evening.

We had a very spacious barn double room with very high ceilings, giving the room an airy feel. We had a bath with shower over and decent complimentary products. The bed was large and comfortable.The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food selection was decent but the quality could have been better. I had smothered chicken for my main meal which was in fact over smothered. I had sticky toffee pudding for desert which was barely luke warm.Cooked breakfast was over cooked to the extent that hash browns were fused together.

Friendly welcome and friendly staff at bar and restaurant. Enjoyed the food in the restaurant.

Price of drinks in the bar a little on the high side.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Bed extremely comfortable. All looked a little tired but clean. The food was adequate but not exceptional but the staff helpful and made a Caesar salad specifically for my wife even though it wasn’t on the menu.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Purpose dog walking field. Rural location, not far from Stratford and Warwick. Very reasonably priced.

Sauna / steam room would have been great.
