The post code takes you to the north direction of the motorway, this is no good if you’re heading south .

As usual quiet clean straightforward

They've started charging £5 for car parking if you book via booking.com, but they said if one books direct it's the same price but then they let you off the £5. A sign on reception says this too. So I had to pay the £5

Been here many times as a stop off on my way home from Football trips to the midlands. Good location, Reasonable price.

Broken Radiator, banging and clicking ever few minutes all nightSingle bed was pushed up against a headboard with light sockets hidden under the pillow which I caught my head on twice in the nightLeaky gutters right outside the window, water smashing down from 3am when it started rainingGiven the disabled room, which had a door lock that evidently doesn't work. A 1-foot long thick hair in my breakfast was the icing on the cake

Bedding and beds were dirty had to ask for clean bedding

The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I will be using this again.

Never again

Grotty room, uncomfortable mattress and pillows. Road noise and what sounded like a herd of elephants stomping around in the room above us for ages at 1 am- would probably have got more sleep in the back of my car

Have stayed here many times, staff always very helpful, pleasant and professional.

We were in room 118, which was not as clean as expected. The bathroom floor was covered in dust and had not been cleaned for days, and there were coffee drips and dirty finger marks on the bathroom door . The bath taps were not clean, and there was rust around them. The room was generally very tired with marks on the carpets.

Comfort and price

Tired facilities and someone left the heating on max so I walked into a sauna in my room

Good sized room with a walk in shower. Good parking and service shops next door.

It’s is marked incorrectly on bookings.com map as being on the northbound side. I used to map to pick the hotel so ended up in the northbound one first and this obviously happens a lot they know about this issue and have done nothing to resolve it with booking.com. This meant we had to drive up to the next exit and back southbound to get to the southbound days inn and then in the morning had to drive south before turning north again very annoying to lose near 30 mins

Pleasant

Shower plug incredibly dirty and overflowing with remnants of previous showers.

It was filthy and staff didn’t care !! I’d like to raise a complaint about my stay last night . When myself and my partner arrived to check in we was given a key card to room 13 we went to the room and was disappointed by the cleanliness there was dirty and the last persons pubic hair in the shower tray (I have taken a video of this ) we went to reception and told them we wasn’t staying in that room due to the room not being clean . We was then given a key card to room 112 and was very disappointed when we walked into that room and it was even more disgusting than the first room . Dust everywhere bath was filthy and the toilet was also filthy , skirting boards filthy (also taken videos of this ) . You need new cleaners !!

Receptionist was excellent. I was made to feel very welcome. Ample parking. Room was very quiet

Big room, good bed, and all clean

The Day’s Inn suited our needs for an overnight stay, when breaking up our journey when travelling South. We have stayed here several times before and will continue to do so.

The girls behind the desk are amazing, I lived here pretty much daily for a year

Only reason I no longer do is because the managers an absolute weapon.

Price only. Has a clean bathroom to take a shower. A bed to sleep in

Old every thing. The bed had a hole down the middle. Stains on the bedroom bedding. One towel for two people. Only one chair. This was a double bed. So they should assume 2 people in the room.
