The Arden Hotel Stratford - Eden Hotel Collection

Location was walking distance to almost anything you?d need there. The staff was courteous and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The AC stopped working my last night so I had to sleep with the window open instead (which didn?t have a screen).

location was great, good food, friendly staff, nice room, comfy bed

dragging suitcases up all those stairs

Location and friendly staff

The sticky key

Noisy passage area in morning

We had our Wedding night there 8yrs ago so was a revisit and was lovely, nice small hotel in the heart of Stratford

They charge you to stay in there car park!

Great convenient location

Lots of activity in the hallways with very thin walls made it difficult for uninterrupted sleep. Also we did not have sufficient hot water to fill the tub

Staff, food services and room were exceptional

Loved the architecture and how it fit with the quaintness of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Also was very close to Royal Shakespeare Company theaters which is why I was there.

Stairs. I have leg issues but, with that said, that’s part of the architecture of older buildings so it fit.

The location is right across the road from the RSC. The staff were very helpful with my luggage and having a car park onsite made all the difference.

I had reserved dinner and was eating alone at the pre-theatre dinner time. Despite there being plenty of tables available, I was placed in an awkward position facing other guests against a wall, which made me feel almost as if I was being relegated to a lesser spot because I was on my own. I was disappointed by the treatment of this staff member and would have expected better.

Staff were good , rooms were comfortable but need remodeling

Steps to get to the room and steps in the room down to the bathroom

Location, literally next door to the RSC.Room was niceBathroom was cool - I like a separate shower and bathtub, or just a shower.

The location is excellent, right across the road from the main theatre complex and the river, and just a short walk to the town. Parking was easy at the hotel.

Price of alcohol in the bar.

VERY GOOD LOCATION = ACROSS FROM THEATERCLOSE TO RESTURANTS AND SHAKESPEARE LOCATIONS

Located right across the street from Royal Shakespeare Company and in a generally nice location.

Rooms were tired. Curtains falling down. It wouldn’t take much to spruce up the rooms and make them pleasant.

Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and friendly staff.

Didn’t like the toaster for self service toast. Was very slow and only did one side at a time.Think there could be a better bar area. The current inside one is very small and depressing.Bathroom lighting for the mirror could be better.

LocationFriendly staff

Nowhere to sit in bar during the evening as all tables set for breakfast

The hotel is charming, in a great location, wonderful staff, excellent restaurant, spacious room with a very large ensuite bathroom. We have stayed twice before a few years ago and were happy to see that the hotel maintained its high standards and charm. Convenient parking.

If I have to suggest something, I would say that the room could use a bit of an updating, but it was so clean and fresh that it wasn't an issue.

Great location in a beautiful hotel. Staff friendly and efficient

Nothing to dislike.

The room was excellent and the bed very comfortable

The website at booking or the hotel did not make clear the surcharge for parking and the service charge

Proximity to the RSC theatre

Needs a refurbCarpets starting to fray, items missing from bathroom….. shaving mirror taken from wall Air con didn’t work
