From entering the hotel, a beautiful smell hit you. In checking in we were then given a wam cookie. Was a lovely extra touch that was! The staff were lovely.. the room was big and the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and the towels were large and fluffy. The toiletries were decent too. It was spotlessly clean. It was a short walk into Town and not far to drive to all the places we wanted to visit .. fantastic!

The WiFi was a bit hit and miss and took us a while to get connected but once on it was ok

Location was great. We were upgraded but the room was very cold.

The staff we encountered were suitably pleasant. Breakfast was very good. TV in room was good quality. Plenty of parking spaces, but the trend towards charging for parking at hotels is annoying. There is a nominal discount for hotels guests, but not a large enough.

Walls between rooms are paper-thin, so you can hear an annoying murmur from other people's conversations. Light switches clicking on and off loud enough to wake you from sleeping. This alone would stop me using this hotel again. Can't be doing with other people noise at 1am. If you value peace and quiet it's probably not the hotel for you, unless you get lucky and there's no one in the room next door.The shower over the bath was very cramped, narrow bath to stand in as you shower. Should be better.Sink was style over substance with the tap not extending far enough into the sink to wash your hands in a comfortable manner. And the hot water took an age to arrive from the tap

The property was in a good location with car parking and nice grounds

The room was absolutely freezing. I don’t think there had been any heat in there at all. When phoning reception the lady told me she had to go to switch it on in the back office. Because it had been so cold though it didn’t warm up properly until the following morning

The room was of a really good size

The service at the bar was less than good. They had turned off the coffee making machine well before the bar was due to close. Foe some reason the young man working the bar to keep calling me "mate", which I thought was not appropraite

Beds have wheels on so ever time it was sat on it moved across the room not much fun

We thought the breakfast was particularly good. The hot food was actually hot and there was a good selection on the buffet. The staff were friendly and the location was convenient. We will stay again.

There was nothing to fault. We had a very good stay, but it is a large corporate hotel, so the one thing that is lacking is any character.

Freezing cold and run like Ryan Air had to pay extortionate car park fees. Said it was dog friendly but yet had to pay more money and for breakfast sat in a corridor for breakfast because of the dog. Not a place I would ever recommend and never stay again

Shower curtain smelled the room out of damp and no heating in the room.

Disappointing stay this hotel on this visit! We booked an executive king room, but to be honest did not meet expectations. The room was extremely cold when we checked in, the bathroom was freezing due to there only being a very small towel radiator,so when the towels were on it, it gave out no heat whatsoever , and we had to put our shoes on to use the bathroom. The restaurant was not open for evening meals, despite it saying it was on the check in welcome letter? And this should have been advised prior to booking, as this would have influenced our decision to stay there. So we had to go out for our evening meals. There was only one chair in the room to sit in, but plenty of room for a second chair, so we had no choice but to sit on the bed when we got back to the room. The breakfast was the best bit, although I fail to see why you should charge extra for certain breakfast items when you are already paying for all the buffet items?

The room and the bathroom were absolutely freezing when we arrived, the restaurant wasn’t open for evening meals, which we weren’t advised of prior to arrival. The room did not meet our expectations, marks on the carpet, and only one chair in the room for two people! The breakfast was good, except that you expect people to pay extra for certain breakfast items, which should be included in the price of breakfast.

The room, the windows were a mess and don't open them or you may let things in. Being charged to park my car whilst staying at the hotel is a rip off

I requested a low floor got put on 3rd The room very small for 2 people it was like an attic room my husband 6 ft 4 low roof

Absolutely fantastic stay. The hotel felt like a bit of luxury at a really decent price. The whole building smells like the inside of a spa. Friendly staff, welcoming to dogs, and perfectly located.

My only very minor gripe is the bed pillows were far too soft. I personally prefer at least one pillow to be a bit firmer.

Breakfast was good. Friendly and helpful staffs.

The rooms were old. Not cozy. Elevators were also very old and slow.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfy. Nice spacious room and bathroom and I was able to work well in there, in the morning.

There wasn’t an option to have lunch which I’d been banking on as I had a couple of hours to kill after check out before meeting my parents and I had quite alot of luggage’s

would not return.
