Room was delightful. Clean, beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. I could have moved in.Very handy for walking from the station and to the RSC theatre.

I had dinner the night that I arrived and I was hoping that venison would have been on the menu

Such a beautiful and historic inn…the breakfast was really good and we had dinner in the pub which is very authentic. Don’t miss the old mural in the dining room

Rooms were a little tight but overall amenities were great!

We received a warm welcome upon arrival and everyone was very friendly. Communications before the stay were clear and we appreciated the clear advice about parking. The breakfast was excellent, cooked to order and delicious. The location is perfect and the main hotel building is rich with history.

I was offered and accepted a room upgrade for an extra cost, but were a bit disappointed by the size of the room and the corridor it was on was a little noisy. Offers to top up our coffee at breakfast would have been appreciated!

Great restaurant. Do have to walk stairs (15) Historic, close to most attractions. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend

    9FelixPosted on: 8-15-2025

The room was very clean and also bigger than expected. Good breakfast. Good location.

The lift could have been better. Our room, and I think only our room, didn't have a room number fixed on the door.

    10DerekPosted on: 8-13-2025

Everything about our stay was superb from the comfortable, quiet and well appointed room, the helpful and friendly staff to the delicious dinner and breakfast.

    Location.

The room was very small as well as the bed. The quality of the food was subpar. Service in general wasn't very attentive.
