    Pros +

    • The breakfast was incredible the location was awesome. It was a incredible stay
    • Great location. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
    • We have stayed here a couple of times now and enjoyed it. We accidentally left some items in our room, and when we telephoned to retrieve them, they were placed in safe keeping until collected. Great service. Thank you.

    Cons -

    • It was perfect
    • The hotel must be close to a night club as the music kept us awake until 2 in the morning. That was the only disappointment that let this hotel down.
    • Room was quite small & limited selection of teas & coffees

Lovley comfy room as we always get when staying here the beds are hugs and comfortable the buffet breakfast in the morning is always good and the chef on our stay was amazing at his eggs the poached were perfect .

Issues we found were the toilet in the bathroom had a very strange sound like a wobble board for around 6 minutes after it finished flushing which when using in the middle of the night was disturbing. The other main issue was after our evening out my prtner ran a bath to relax in but after slipping in she noticed a number of long dark hairs stuck to the tiles as neither of us had used the batyh or shower that day these must of been from a previous guest and this put my partner off and she cut her relaxing baath short . This lack of cleanliness was very disappointing.

We stayed here for two nights, half board which included breakfast and evening meal. The hotel was ideal for our stay as the Theatre Royal is just nearby. The beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotless and nicely decorated and furnished. The pillows were quite firm. There was a large TV. The towel rail in the bathroom became detached, but otherwise a lovely room, although the sound insulation between the rooms is poor.TBH. We ate, both nights, in the dining area by the bar and the food was adequate but not outstanding. Rafae our waiter was so cheerful and polite it made a big difference. Breakfast was excellent in my opinion, but we did go down early and avoid the crush. The swimming pool is in the basement but was warm and clean. Could get quite busy. The bar and lounge areas are spacious and relaxing.

The single twin beds were a little narrow and the pillows quite firm. The restaurant food was adequate but a bit variable. Starters were good (falafel, salmon), mains variable ie rigatoni, good; tagine, not so much. Parking is not cheap at £18 per day.

Location and Facility, excellent for all amenities, can be a bit pricey, if there any events on in Nottingham

Great staff, clean and smart room, quiet. Great location for town and the bonus of parking if you drive. Really quick check in, good wifi. Great bed and a decent night's sleep.

Hotel contacted me about an offer for the spa, which appeared to be six weeks out of date. I asked for clarification and did not receive a response. So I contacted the spa but the email address didn't work.

Central location. Reception staff are extremely polite. Car park on site. Bar area lovely

The room was very small. Extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work. I don’t see the point of a fridge in the room if it doesn’t work either. The swimming pool area was dirty all the way around it. The jacuzzi was extremely hot. The changing room floors were also dirty, the staff there on reception didn’t seem to care when we told them. Breakfast food ok but was all lukewarm and therefore spoilt it for the money you charge.

As Nottingham is our home city, staying in a local hotel wasn’t something we’d planned. We only booked the Crowne Plaza Nottingham due to an unexpected boiler failure at home, with the stay covered by our home insurance. What could have been a stressful and inconvenient situation was genuinely made much easier thanks to the quality of the hotel and the excellent service we received. The hotel is centrally located, right next to Rock City nightclub, yet despite this it was surprisingly quiet. Even being in the heart of the city, noise was never an issue, which we really appreciated. The spa facilities were a real bonus. The steam room and jacuzzi were both excellent, and while the pool is on the smaller side, it was ideal for relaxing. There is no sauna, but the facilities that are available are clean, well maintained, and very enjoyable to use.Staff across the hotel were consistently friendly, talkative, and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.A particular highlight was the restaurant service. Rafae looked after us at dinner for four nights and provided outstanding service. He was attentive, proactive, and genuinely thoughtful. On the occasions when the kitchen had run out of an item, he always went out of his way to make it right — even offering small but much-appreciated extras such as an additional scoop of ice cream. That level of care really stands out.Given the circumstances of our stay, the Crowne Plaza Nottingham more than made up for the inconvenience and stress of having no heating or water at home. It turned an unexpected situation into a comfortable and positive experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially maria on reception. She gave us a drink voucher as celebrating my partners birthday. Lovely gesture and definitely stay again. Thankyou

The room was great, nice and clean and bathroom was big. The lounge/bar/restaurant area was gorgeous. The Spa was lovely and the treatment was amazing.

If I'm nit-picking, I couldn't order an oat-milk hot drink from the bar because they only had one milk steamer and couldn't contaminate it with oat milk?? The cakes on the afternoon tea seemed to be have been sitting in a fridge for a long time, they were quite dense and a little dry.

    Lovation and spa facilities

Small rooms, very uncomfortable mattress, outdated and old all-round ( not sustainable, old non breathing and very hot and uncomfortable all-round) and lastly very untrained staff throughout the hotel

The staff were amazing. As a wheelchair user they did everything they could to help me. When I had concerns in the welfare on other people staying there, they acted promptly to keep everyone safe
