First of first we got 2 rooms link together as we are travel with kid's, First room was OK but second behind the wall was a real nightmare no hot water at all in the bathroom and no heating after reporting to reception they can't do nothing at the moment I said ok it is what it is. But next eavning we was left the room at 5.30 am and be back very tired arround 11pm both rooms was stinky like cigarette ashes someone smoke in the bathroom and thru the ventilation all smell go thru our rooms I reported to reception they confirm smell at the rooms and after they investigation they didn't find person whos smoke in the room I think was behind the wall but any way. S9 we was sleep in one room 4 people in one bed imagine this...... On the last day I was asked for part refund but people at the reception informed me they speak with manager and they can't do any part of refund so this situation is unacceptable for me as I spend £ 460.00 for double room as we didn't use other room and last night was stinky becouse of someone smoke cigarettes nearly all night. Never ever be back to this hotel.

We were in room 419 and the mattress wasn’t very good. Only felt the wooden slats underneath.. hotel looks a bit worn, chairs, carpets etc

Not a lot. Restaurant menu was good.

Room was cold, heating didn’t work, bed was hard as a rock and there were no extra blankets to keep warm. No plugs anywhere near the bed to charge anything only one on the desk, dark room, hard floor with dirty carpet.

Breakfast is horrendous for the paid price. They have only filtered coffee, no fresh fruit, very little options available… 16/18 pounds for a filtered coffee and a packed yogurt and really bad scrambled eggs…

Stylish hotel with larger than expected room.

The shower was a little small.

Liked the aesthetic, the staff were friendly

No bedside plugs , limited utilities and storage / wardrobe area very small

The service was great, the staff were so lovely an the meal we had in the evening was incredible. 10/10 to the chef

There was no hot water in the morning which was a little disappointing so we couldn't have a shower. Apart from that, our stay was amazing.

Attended a wedding food was nice but plates of food were not cleared from the tables all evening. ladies toilets were blocked & disgusting where the wedding was held. Very poor breakfast kept having to ask for things to be replenished in which time the rest of what you had on you plate was cold, it was Expensive too for what was on offer.

The staff were friendly and efficient, and the room was nice. Parking was great!

Because of the season, there was no food available, other than continental breakfast. the bar was open for drinks.

I liked the location and it is a very pretty hotel.

I have been coming to this hotel for a long time. I have also been to hotels over 27/12-28/12 this was the first time here at that time. There were no facilities, the people were rude and not helpful, it’s like they don’t want to be there. Why not just close if you don’t have full facilities. Other hotels I have stayed at this time of year have had full facilities and been very nice and friendly. I won’t come back again. It was also very cold in the room not much heating! I want half my money back!! I shouldn’t be expected to pay 126 when the stuff were rude and your facilities were not full functioning and the room was cold.

It was very handy to the M1 motorway. The food was delicious.

When I checked in, I wasn’t told what time checkout was. I asked what time the restaurant was serving food till and when I turned up to the restaurant I was told I needed my black card to prove what room I was in - I wasn’t told this at check in. I had to go back to reception and wait for a new black card. We had a knock at the door at 10pm tonight give us toothbrushes and toothpaste - whilst the gesture is nice, it was a bit random and I wouldn’t feel comfortable if my partner was there alone.

Location. Easy to get to.

Visible wear and tear all over the room. Bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. Bar staff weren’t ready to take orders. Lack of preparation from bar staff.

Staff were polite and room was clean, although very tired.

We arrived to be told that there was no hot food available, but we could have shared a meal deal sandwich, not what you want after a 5 hour drive.The hotel is very tired, threadbare carpets, worn seating in the lounge, and loose tiles in the shower.We hardly slept at all as the mattress offered no support, in fact we may as well have slept on the floor.Also a coffee machine that dispenses luke warm drinks is no substitute for a kettle.Needless to say when we were forced to stay another night in the area, we moved hotels.
