Room spacious and comfortable . Food and drink - quality and service - exemplary

Fresh milk in the minibar fridge and good tea + coffee.

Limited parking and costly.

The beds and pillows were super comfy and the shower was excellent (although I would have preferred to not climb into the bath) it was an easy walk into the city with secure parking for my car. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a garden room which was delightful, opening out onto a terrace with views across the city.

The bedroom was on the small side with the ‘twin’ beds being a double separated with no space between.

Loved how friendly the staff was. The lady on reception recommended the Victoria centre for shopping Room was posh, clean and bathtub was massive, great for a soak

Breakfast was disappointing! No fried eggs, the scrambled eggs was too dry, and the only water on offer was sparkling. I wouldn’t try it again

The place is run down and needs a make over.

The same and needs a good paint and deep cleaning. The staff were great and professional.

My stay coincided with one of the regular wine tasting dinners. Luckily they had a spare place (you have to book in advance). It was most enjoyable and I would recommend it highly.

Room was a superior but I liked the stranded one better only difference is the view would not pay more for this room again

Location lovely and quiet hotel, 5 mins walk to city. Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean rooms, amazing extras and lovely choices of tea. Lovely filter coffee too

Location and friendliness of staff

Rooms very small and a bit of a 90s halls of residence feel, restaurant very trad British fair, not welcoming when i went in so ended up going out of the hotel to eat, bathroom door broken so didn't slide easily, shower leaked and am sure I heard vacuuming at 8am

In the restaurant they only offer one choice of soup on the menu (onion soup). They should offer more than one type of soup on the menu - a "soup of the day" choice.

Everything best hotel that I have ever stayed at.Friendly staff, amazing service and the room with the garden view incredible.Would recommend this hotel.

The food in the restaurant is questionable.Would like to see more normal food.

Cosy seating area by reception. Weather permitting outside cushioned seating with outdoor heater. Pretty landscaped garden. Nice furniture, art and curtains. Quiet.

No view from bedroom windows. Lifts going to wrong floor. Key not working in door which is a faff to sort.
