Did not stay at this hotel. It is really a truck stop and not to my expectation. I cancelled when I saw it. I thought it may have been like a country hotel but it is a busy highway truck stop over not suitable for normal residence. Misleading advert.
Convenient and cheap.

Top Tips
- Book your hotel 4–8 weeks in advance for events at Coventry Building Society Arena, especially around major weekend fixtures, as rates often rise and inventory gets limited near key dates. For top chains with loyalty programs, check for early-booking perks or room upgrades.
- Select a hotel within a 10–15 minute walk of Coventry Railway Station for easy access to frequent trains, ideal for minimizing transfer times to meetings or connecting to London and Birmingham. Use loyalty club benefits for potential express checkout after early departures.
- Travel between Coventry and Birmingham International Airport via direct train in 10–12 minutes, bypassing M6 traffic delays. Confirm train schedules for late arrivals; many top hotels offer 24-hour reception for flexible check-in.
- Compare hotel parking costs, typically £10–£20 (about $15–$25) per day, against adjacent public car parks, as some central hotels limit onsite spaces. Major hotels often offer discounted parking for members or with direct bookings, so ask at reservation.
- Consider staying in Earlsdon, 2.5 km (1.5 mi) from the city centre, for a quieter local vibe and rates 10–20% below central hotels. Enjoy independent dining options; many hotel chains here offer family rooms or extended-stay amenities.
- Request a room facing away from Spon Street or the Cathedral quarter if staying on Friday or Saturday evenings, as these central nightlife areas often have activity past 23:00. If sensitive to noise, check if the hotel provides blackout curtains or sound-insulated windows.
- For University of Warwick events, staying 5–6 km (approx. 3.5 mi) near campus can cut taxi costs and commute time versus city centre hotels. Major chains often provide shuttle or taxi info at reception; verify in advance for peak dates.
- Rates typically spike by 15–25% during peak season. Book your hotel 2–3 months ahead for lowest fares, ideally 4–6 weeks before arrival. Consider flexible booking policies offered by top chains to safeguard against last-minute changes.
- Only about 30% of Coventry hotels include breakfast, and most charge £8–£15 (about $10–$15) per person. Confirm inclusions at booking; many branded properties offer a complimentary continental or buffet option for loyalty members.
- Accessible rooms with step-free access are limited (10–15% of properties in the city centre), particularly in historic buildings. Reserve these rooms at least 48 hours in advance and notify the hotel directly to ensure availability of accessible features like lifts or visual alarms.
- Use contactless payment on buses and trams for up to 15% savings compared to cash fares (typically £2.50 by card vs £2.90 by cash per ride). Some hotel chains sell local travelcards or contactless transit cards at reception for added convenience.
