- Location for where we needed to be
- It¿s in a good location to the city centre.
- Concierge was courteous, polite, personable, helpful & friendly. Facilities & food was excellent.
Cons -
- Room was smelled of damp and foisty changed rooms that was abit better but not much very old and dated furniture and carpets would not stay there again .does not meet the advertised 4 star .The spa was not very clean 5 mins in there was enough
- Hotel is run down.Woken up early hours by a leak from ceiling. Water dripped onto floor near electrical plug sockets.Upon closer inspection we could see it¿s been an issue before. We also had leaky bathroom taps & carpet was heavily marked & looked grubby
- Manager / owner of the hotel was entitled & will find an excuse to take your money given a chance. Pillows were hard.

The location was good for visiting Chester zoo.
The staff were rude. The hotel room we were given was smaller and not the room type we booked. The alternative room they gave us was not legal to rent out to anybody as the door was broken and either would not close after forcing open, think fire door!
