Amsterdam Inn & Suites Fredericton, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Nice breakfast, clean and modern rooms.

Clean bright bathroom. Nice up to date furniture in good condition. Working fridge kept things very cold. Functional casement windows could be opened for fresh air. Quiet HVAC. Good hot breakfast. Lots of free parking. Good location.

Carpet in the room was stained and dirty. One wall was a bit beat up. Toilet wouldn't stop unless you jiggled the handle just the right way (minor thing. I'm sure the staff would have fixed it had I asked). Hallways were under renovation.

Everything was super clean, the staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was great!

During the night we had a little bit of snow and I didn¿t like that someone was shoveling and scrapping around my door at 5am. I didn¿t enjoy getting waken up at 5am

Spacious, two beds provided, clean, well located, excellent breakfast. Staff is courteous and helpful. Close to the room parking. Superior quality for the price range.

The service and facility completely surpassed a 2.5 star rating in my opinion. However I did not book the hotel for its amenities but for its convenient location and reviews about experiences. Great job. This is my go to hotel in Fredericton

Noise from next room (child/children) from midnight until about 4 a.m. This does not reflect on the hotel.

A busload of chinese tourists disembarked after our arrival. Their loud chatter until 12am in the common hallway, then again for 6:30am departure was a bummer. Not the hotel's fault, although some shushing from the front desk would have been appreciated.

Very clean. Breakfast was very good, lots of variety and good coffee!

Some of the other guests were noisy in the hallways in the early morning hours!

Odd aroma to the laundry soap used but have come across it in other hotels so probably the new scent free odor.

Parking. Not adequate for facility due to fact only entrance is through front. Would have helped to have key swipe entry through side door (where we had to park upon returning evening and it was -30 Celsius Brrr) and run to front entrance.

Vending machines are lacking badly.
