Pros +
- Location with its view out to the St. Lawrence was great. Really liked the cooked to order breakfast. The best thing was the young woman running the inn who was very friendly and accommodating, and very helpful with information about the area.
- All of the staff that we met were incredibly warm and friendly. We loved our room, the food was good, and they had the best pizza that I've ever eaten.
- We had an amazing (short) stay there ! The stars were adorable and we ate good pizza ! Also the rooms are spacious and confortable. We totally recommend
Cons -
- There was nothing about this place that we didn't like.
- maybe rooms closer together
- The screened in porch was nice for sitting but did not allow for direct window to outside. Porch was shared so not that private.

Very good location. Easy walking distance to beach, restaurants. Large room and very good breakfast available on site.

Nice big rooms
No air conditioning and stairs, the restaurant was also closed Tuesday and Wednesday which is bs
i did like only city
First of all, I rented the best room with an ocean view, but when I got there, I saw that there was only a very small window in the room. It was very difficult to see the ocean from this window. It was only possible to see it from the veranda of the room, but since it was winter, the veranda was very cold. They said the heaters were broken, and the veranda light was not working. Even though we told them to fix the heater and the lamp, they did not do anything. We sat in the cold for 6 days, in the meantime, it was constantly raining and snowing. The cleaning was zero. They did not clean the room even once in 6 days. The most important thing is that when I made the reservation, I received an e-mail from the hotel about my arrival time. I called the hotel to inform them. I said hello in English. They hung up on me immediately. On my second call, I asked them why they hung up on me. They said in English that they did not know English.
A lovely old building in a very central location. Very helpful staff. The room was large and comfortable. There was a nice sitting area just outside the bedroom which looked out over the sea.
It was all good.
Spacious room, great porch, good atmosphere, pleasant friendly staff , feels like family, excellent breakfast, great pizza evenings.
Very good
It was really hot and no AC and no window to open to get some air to cool the room.a little.
Loved the spacious room, each of us had our own bedroom area with large bathroom between. Nice sitting area just outside our rooms in the hallway with windows looking out at the water. Easy to walk around town from the Auberge. The main house is very old and well kept, the additions with rooms are cleverly placed so there is lots of light. Didn’t try their breakfast room but that looks nice.
Only drawback with the set up is there are no windows in the room as the hallways are on both sides. We sometimes would leave our door open a bit and open windows in the hallway area for the fresh air. But the room had fans over the beds for circulation.
The room was exquisite. The inn was very quaint.
Prices high in restaurant. For pouring our own coffee and only ordering two pieces of toast. I was a little shocked when the waitress confronted me for not tipping her.
-large rooms, comfy bed, water view, close to the park to do awesome hikes-friendly staff-amazing breakfast
Our room had a nice table right outside the room where we could eat some meals. There was a microwave which we also used. A fridge is also in the room. The location is very good for visiting Gaspesie NP. Bathroom was very good.
Airing the room is a bit tricky, as there is no window to the outside. There is a door on one end of the room and a door plus window with ventilation on the other side of the room. The advantage, however, is that it is nice and dark in the room so you won't wake up from the sunlight in the morning.
Clean and comfortable room, good facilities, great location, amazing view.
Late check-in time.
Location was perfect, on a quiet street right across from the St-Lawrence River. It was a short walk to some quaint stores. Also only about a 30 minute drive to the Parc de la Gaspésie…a must see!! The room was large and cozy and had a little porch area with tables and chairs.
We had to search for someone to check in. The restaurant wasn’t open for dinner on Sunday and really only had pizza options on Saturday night, so we didn’t end up eating there at all. The walls were also quite thin and could hear people through the walls at all hours.
Great location with an excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
There was no dinner service and the bar was closed by 9pm.
The person who greeted us and with whom we negotiated was pleasant.
This was a completely misrepresented accommodation. The description and the photos of our "Executive Suite," indicated that we were staying in a room with large windows, and a generous seating area - along with two large beds, and a bathroom. All of that was there, BUT the windows and seating area were in a corridor that was shared with the other units. The bedroom and bathroom were set inside the corridor. There were actually two doors, each letting out onto corridors on each side. This meant that the bedroom had no windows at all. When we got into our room we immediately called the man at reception. He offered us another room, but the whole place, by that time, had given us a very creepy vibe. He agreed to cancel one of our two nights. We paid for one night, but left immediately, and we did not stay there at all. In all, we were there about ten minutes. Although I offered to pay for one night, having perceived his reluctance to cancel, and being beyond the Booking.com deadline for cancelations, I actually think he should have refunded us for the whole amount. I only hope that this review will prevent others from being fooled the way we were.
The owner was extraordinarily nice and the room was very clean and had everything you could ask for. The hotel building is sweet and the location is great! The bed was so comfy we slept longer than usual.
Unfortunately the jacuzzi was broken. But everything else was really nice
Room was spacious, clean, the bed very comfortable and linens were of quality. Lovely bath robe provided was a great touch. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food.
The walls were pretty thin - if guests are above, on the second floor, you hear everything. It would be nice to have some regular tea provided for those who don’t drink coffee or green tea.
