Liked the room overlooking the lake and it was very big so that we could move around with scooter.
The location is excellent and there is plenty of outdoor and under cover parking. There is a good choice of eateries in and around the hotel.I would recommend the hotel on location alone at this time.

Lady at the front was very kind. The room was dated and dirty and not cleaned properly. In the morning I was congested, I am allergic to dust and the place I guess was dusty. The carpets were dirty and there was pet hair and paper on the couch.

The rooms were renovated in 2024 and it definitely shows. The bed, desk, etc were all in great shape and benefitted from being refreshed. The bathroom was redone, but it's on the smaller side, so it's more practical than impressive.
The rooms were funky with the floor lights. Like the fact that the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom/shower area.

This was the most disgusting hotel I've EVER stayed in. Broken down vehicles in the parking lot, garbage everywhere, a truck canopy laying in front of the front desk along with a junky old ping pong table. The rooms were absolutely gross. Dated and dirty

Top Tips
- Room rates in Penticton typically do not include a 12% tax (5% GST + 7% PST), and most municipalities add a 2-3% tourism levy. These costs appear at booking or on your final bill. Confirm total taxes and levies on the hotel's booking page or confirmation before payment.
- Find availability up to 9 months out for Ironman Penticton (usually late August) and at least 2-3 months ahead for major summer weekends. Rates are often non-refundable during peak events, and budget options fill up quickly.
- Downtown and waterfront hotels offer walkable access (within 0.3-1.0 km, or 5-15 minutes) to Okanagan Lake beaches, the river channel, and main restaurants. Highway 97 motels and West Bench lodgings are typically 10-20 minutes by car from the city center.
- Penticton Regional Airport is 10-15 minutes' drive from downtown, with limited, mostly seasonal flights. Prebook your taxi or rental car during events to avoid long waits, as public transport is not always available.
- Access over 30 wineries on the Naramata Bench within a 15-25 minute drive from central Penticton. Hotel-run winery shuttles are rare; prebook a winery tour or car rental if you plan to visit multiple tasting rooms.
- Water restrictions commonly affect the Okanagan in summer. Hotels may reduce daily linen changes or close outdoor pools to conserve water. Confirm with your hotel if these policies impact your stay.
- Not all hotels in Penticton provide EV chargers, though public Level-2 stations are accessible in downtown areas. Confirm hotel charging in advance or locate the nearest public charger, and allow 1-3 hours per session.
- Pet-friendly bookings may incur nightly or per-stay fees and could carry size restrictions. Ask your hotel about pet policy details, including cleaning or deposit fees, before confirming your stay.
- Older motels and small hotels in Penticton may feature stairs or lack elevators, limiting accessibility. If you need a ground-floor room, step-free access, or an accessible shower, request these in writing before arrival.
