    Pros +

    • Location and views
    • The room was amazing and extremely spacious. The beds were very comfortable, everything was very clean, and the shower was incredible. We would have stayed for a week if we could have!
    • othing!

    Cons -

    • 3 stays since 2022, each worse. Rude, incompetent staff, awful restaurant service, sewage smell, missed discount & poor check-in. Never again.
    • We asked SIX TIMES for a working room key, which we never received. The lady at the front desk refused to move us to a riverside room, though I offered to pay for the upgrade, stating that they were full. Only about half the rooms were occupied.
    • Everything: No real restaurant, no real personnel, no real hotel!

The location is amazing. In the canyon next to the river.

The hotel is currently in a major renovation. For the price, I would wait until the hotel is finished.

Literally, everything about this hotel was excellent. The check-in process was easy and the staff there were very friendly and helpful, the room itself was fantastic and had amenities I did not expect, the resort grounds were were clean and well-kept.

Nope! Maybe only that I didn't stay longer.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-24-2019

The location was beautiful and the rooms were large and well furnished.

The beds were springy and less-than-comfortable. In the end, all the effort put into the rest of the room was for naught as we didn't get a good night's sleep.

    10SamaraPosted on: 4-20-2017

The location is unbelievable. We spent lots of time on the patio, watching the sun cross the cliffs.

The kitchenette was nice, but we would have appreciated a hot plate or simple stove.

    8GenevievePosted on: 3-16-2017

Staff was wonderful. Views are spectacular. Roo.s are very clean. Without scent added.

Running water is very salty. Separate taps for Drinking water. Shower is salty.

Truly amazing location in the Red Cliff Canyons near Moab

Six weeks advance cancelation requirement - very restrictive. If you are unsure of your plans just wait until a few days before and call as they often have unsold rooms.

    9EvelynPosted on: 3-8-2016

    The view was stunning!

The water faucet was salty. I had to use the filter to wash the dishes. I cannot cook. The Cabins had only 1 bathroom.

    10VickyPosted on: 10-24-2015

My husband and I loved the cabin that we stayed in . Very comfortable and clean . The food at the lodge was excellent from breakfast to dinner .

    10ViggoPosted on: 7-13-2015

The room was big, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is great (breakfast and dinner). The décor looks a bit 80ies, but that just adds to the charm of this place that feels like a luxury resort. The staff at the front desk was excellent.

    10BobPosted on: 4-22-2015

Even though we didn't have a river view room. We did have a view of the majectic mountains and the beautiful horses. The museum was interesting, showing all the films that had been produced there.

The brunch was just "so so" except for Sunday when you could get an omelet or over easy eggs, but that was $5.00 more.Dinners were not the greatest and we tried most everything on the menu. The service, however was great.

    10AlexPosted on: 3-27-2015

It's definitely the view. Amazing canyon and river right by our cabin. The magnificent stars the lights the sky at night. The food was also excellent at the restaurant.

WiFi access does not work from our cabin.

    10GregoryPosted on: 3-14-2015

The room accommodations are great, with views of the Colorado River. In-room filtration for drinking water (via reverse osmosis) is great. Restaurant menu offered well-balanced selections that are reasonably priced.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-12-2015

    It's right on the river!

We didnt like paying so much for breakfast when the lodging was expensive to begin with

The location hands down is what this hotel is about.

The front desk staff were abrupt and unfriendly.
