Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston NW - Cypress By IHG

The front desk employee was very welcoming and friendly....always greeted us with her big smile. A friendly face to see every evening when we came back to our room after stressful days of attending a dear friends funeral.

Stayed 3 nights, not once was our room attended to. We went to the front desk to get clean towels and sheets every evening and empty our own trash in a dumpster after returning each evening after very long days being with family and friends at a funeral.

All the elliptical machines were not functional

Nice quiet location a block off of the hwy, no road noise. The hotel is near shopping & grocery making it an ideal location before getting into the hustle of Houston. I like the breakfast option of a "grab bag" as I rarely have time to sit for breakfast.

Nothing. The rooms and bathrooms were dirty and no one ever answers the phone at the front desk.

I had to switch rooms because the shower wasn¿t working in the first room. While in the second room the bathroom was not clean in either. Hair from previous guests were still in the shower and on the walls. A dead bug was found in the bathroom as well.

It had everything we needed. Smell good. Cleaneanless on top. The lay out of the room was welcoming.

When using the channels of the tv it waa no guide to read. No info available. Yes you could see movies and shiws but hard to navigate through aince you will have to change channel one by one.

Cleanliness was extremely good was excited to be there made me happy to feel at home enjoyed the bed it was absolutely wonderful

One of the towels had bleach burn in it you could see through it but that¿s ok

The hotel is being renovated... but it was a big big mess. More than you would expect. The door to the pool was completely shattered. The floors were nasty. The whole hotel stunk. It was awful.

Staff were great about accommodating our family, like putting us in neighboring rooms! The pool is actually open!

I would have liked more protein options at breakfast.

Sheets were dirty and it took the maid 2 hours to come change them out and then they didn’t have the media center open and then they didn’t have any hot breakfast like they were supposed to only grab and go snacks

Friendly staff, well-designed room, and very comfortable bed. I also liked the convenience to the outlet shopping center with food available in walking distance.

The rowing machine was broken, and the guest services phone line was not answered several times in a row.

Staff not helpful, had no hot water and was told they did not have maintenance on the weekend.

The hotel is within 2 minutes walking time from the Premium Outlet mall. It is easy access to Hwy 290. There are numerous restaurants nearby.
