La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Cypress

Very clean, no frills hotel. Staff was friendly; room was clean; bed comfortable; air-conditioner blew cold air; good variety of food at the complimentary breakfast; ideal location just off the freeway with everything you could think of 5-10 minutes away.

Nope!

The bed sheets had holes in them. The restroom door had dried blood stains and the toilet seat was wet when I first arrived in the room. The trash can had some sticky residue that looked like food underneath the trash bag.

The room we originally checked into smell horrible. It was like an animal had just stayed in it. The guy at the front desk told me they knew that room a smell they have done everything they can to fix the issue but it is still not resolved.

This La Quinta was many steps above the others we¿ve stayed at, granted it was newer, - but the rooms were clean - looked clean, felt clean, and smelled clean! We asked for a 30min delay for checkout and the front desk readily agreed.

The only problem and why I only gave 9 stars was we were put I to a handicap room with a doorbell that set off lights and sirens. Also - for seating we were given a single wedge piece of a sectional - it was too deep for comfort & odd for it had no arms.

The customer service was great, house keeping was great and we got fresh towels all 3 nights we stayed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and had lots of options. Everything was clean and neat and the area was safe.

We liked everything. The location was a little hard to get to the first time but once you knew what way to go it was easy. I do suggest that the property put a sign by the drive in entrance to tell you to go straight to the back.

It was very clean. Comfortable bed. We had more than what we needed in the room, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Breakfast was great. Staff was courteous and helpful. On top of wiping off the tables at breakfast. Very happy with stay. Smoke free.

Not a good experience. Our room was right next to the elevators, too noisy. I couldn¿t sleep well. The Room not so cleaned. The toilet was not working well and I reported the lady before we left and she asked me if I wanted a plunger for me to fix it

I just mentioned it before and also I felt that this hotel was kind of old too. I won¿t stay there, that was my first time there and no more.

It was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Front Desk was so helpful at any time.I have told everyone this is the place to stay

The room wasn¿t clean, the bed wasn¿t made, the bathroom wasn¿t clean and the closet was full of boxes and papers all the way to the top so we couldn¿t hang our clothes in closet. I am requesting a future night stay or this will be my last stay.

The staff were very helpful. My parents arrived a day late because of flight delays, and they did not have to pay for the unused room. And the breakfast buffet was really good--a mix of southern cooking, simple healthy options, and convenience foods.

The location was convenient to my nearby family, but somewhat unremarkable in a sea of parking lots. Depending where I was arriving from, it was a tricky to follow my GPS directions. But I don't consider this a problem and would recommend to anyone.

Each person working the front desk was very polite and helped us with whatever need we may have and greeted us with a smile. It was very pleasant.

The staff was extremely helpful, the breakfast was above what we expected. The entire building was clean.

No makeup mirror in the bathroom, no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Great customer service! Although the system was down for a few minutes when we arrived, the nice room and clean environment made up for it! No issues which was very different compared to most hotel stays during the pandemic. No dust or strands of hair!

No. This was my second stay here after the first stay, which was almost a week and a half earlier. Had to go back I enjoyed it so much.

What I liked best about this hotel was that it was pet-friendly and clean (especially for a pet-friendly hotel).

I wasn't too excited about the location. It wasn't the usual easy access off the freeway since it is located BEHIND a strip center, next to a Goodwill.

Room layout made the space more open. Breakfast was good and convenient. Location was excellent, but I central to everything in Cypress.
