Royal Dunes

Our 3 bedroom apartment was perfect...roomy, clean, comfortable, 3 bathrooms, and plenty open spaces to gather. Perfect for our little family gathering.

Royal Dunes offered no amenities. The pool was closed and there is no free use of pickleball or tennis courts. We went nearby to use those facilities at reasonable rates.

Location was excellent which was a big help for us moving out of a rental house close by. Close to the beach and close to shopping/main road way. The unit was larger than expected!

Units still need a little updating (stove, couches, etc.) Elevators smelled nd there were lots of spider webs by the elevator on the lower level.

Location, friendly staff, the condo was perfect for our family of 5, excellent pools, plenty of things to do.

Parking could have been better but wasn’t a huge problem. Just know the spaces are tight.

I loved that parking was free and available, the rooms were clean and neat and beds very comfy! The location to the beach and access only a short walk which was really nice.

The parking spaces were very small and not very spacious for trucks and large SUVs. The sauna was locked the entire time, bummer. Some of the dishes and glasses were dirty and there was an issue with seeing unwanted bugs!

Not a lot of people at the pool

It was my birthday celebration my husband was playing music at 9:30 & someone called the sheriff on me , I am 49 years old and no ever call the police until i visit this place.

Proximity to beach. Plenty of space.

The porch door wouldn’t stay closed.

Spacious rooms. Everything we needed was easily accessible

The AC didn’t always cool properly.Got hot in the middle of the night. Was told I could check in a bit early by one person and denied early check in by another.

We were on second floor and you could hear people walking around on the floor above us.

Location was great. The condo itself was spacious and clean.

The front desk employee wasn’t friendly and rude when we asked days in advance about a one hour later check-out time.

Our carpet and tiled floors were not clean and needed mopping and carpet cleaned. That was our only concern.

Loved the comfortable and spacious apartment. Kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the short walk to the beach, and the actual beach was great too. My boyfriend loved grilling in the evening. Staff was super nice.

It was a fair value for the price. Short walk to the beach. Staff was professional and friendly. Communication was excellent during tropical storm Debbie. Nice to have shaded parking spaces. Outdoor games, like shuffleboard.

Pools were kind of small and gravel on sidewalks. Family room furniture and balcony chairs uncomfortable. Grills were filthy and grilling utensils were unavailable.

I love almost everything about this place.

The parking garage needs to be a little bigger. It is very hard to park even my small Toyota without issues.Also the main TV wouldn’t connect to wifi, I had to use my mobile hotspot, but was able to connect to the resort wifi on everything else.

Our unit was poorly supplied with kitchen equipment The oven was so dirty it smoked when e turned it on In addition they had the main pool closed for 4 days off our 6 day stay for maintenance

Pools were crowded and murky.

The convenience of the short walk over to the beach and how nice the public beach facilities are made this a home run!

Parking can be tough if you’ve got a full size SUV or truck, as the parking spots under the condos are pretty tight. Also the kiddie pool certainly needs a makeover and rebuild. There’s open cracks along the top of the pool where it meets the coping that indicates the pool has settled. Otherwise the kiddie pool was an excellent addition to the facilities as my 2yo loved it.

Staff was rude. They also didn't accommodate our room request. They were terse when we asked about pickleball and gave misinformation. Our unit had broken bedroom door latch and lights flickered. The dryer took 3 cycles to dry and no iron/ironing board in the room.

The living space was awesome, we truly enjoyed the 3 bathrooms, oven, washer and dryer which made it convenient for us. The beds were comfortable and the location was exceptional. Especially being able to walk to the beach and the playground area for the kids.

I would like for the grounds to look more inviting, bigger parking spaces and more activities especially if you’re there for a week.
