Tempo by Hilton Times Square

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The customer service is amazing, the vibe is inviting, the rooms are very small but when you’re out enjoying the city, it feels so good coming back to a comfortable bed.

The menu for breakfast could be more. It is very basic.

The Tempo is every bit of the type of hotel that you’d want to stay. The hotel is extremely nice. The views are impeccable. The best part is the windows are sound proof. So though you’re right in the heart of Times Square, you can sleep peacefully throughout your stay.

Great location, clean and feels safe

Deposit system, and the “urban tax” that adds an extra amount to your stay for not much reason at all

The location is amazing!! The staff was very polite and accommodating. I was able to communicate via text for anything that I needed.

I asked for an early check in on line and called the hotel. They said they couldn’t confirm it which was okay. I went there at 10am and was willing to pay the additional 100$ for an early check in. The rep took my name and phone number and told me she would call when the room was ready. No call and I waited 3 hours to go back and check as I saw 4 people ahead of me checking in and all got rooms. When I got to the check-in desk again; she said nothing was available yet after many guests checked in before me. Got a room about 1:45pm and she still charged me an extra $75 for an early check in. Ridiculous to nickel and dime people that have already spent $1000 for 1 night and left at 4am the next morning. Not satisfied with this at all.

The staff were so friendly welcoming and professional. We had an issue with our room and the moved us straight away to another one, in fact it had a better view. The rooms were kept nice and clean. The beds are super comfy .

It would have been nice to have a little more space in the room, more storage space for suitcases. It was a bit of a tight squeeze with two suitcases and no wardrobe l.Also if you don’t like crowds then the location might not be for you. As you exit the hotel you’re straight into the rush of times square. I personally loved the location as it was close to everything we wanted to do

Friendly, efficient staff. Modern facilities. Quiet, well-appointed room. Spacious for a New York hotel room. Nice bathroom. Nespresso machine in room.

No cupboard or drawers for clothes although there were a couple of shelves and a place to hang clothes.

The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We had a corner room with a Times Square view, and it was pretty impressive, you could see Times Square from a distance and also catch a gorgeous sunset over the west side. Honestly, this is the best way to enjoy Times Square, from afar, because being down there is just way too busy for my taste.It’s the kind of hotel you stay at once for the experience and the views, but I wouldn’t stay again at the price I paid. That said, I’ve seen it offered cheaper at times, and at a lower rate, it would probably feel like a better deal.If it weren’t for the missing small touches, this could have been a perfect five-star experience.

For the price we paid, I expected a little more attention to detail, not even a single bottle of water provided in the room, which was disappointing. Also, for the size of the shower, it would have been nice to have a larger shower head or even two shower heads.

The hotel has a great location. The hotel lobby and the corridor running to the room, looked nice. The view from the room was great. The hotel provided basic amenities but enhanced amenities were lacking which would have been a nice finishing touch.
