We loved Hermann Crown Suites. The hotel has been completely renovated. The breakfast was outstanding and the downstairs bar is a wonder to behold. A special shoutout to Matt at the tavern across the street for feeding us when everything else was closed.
Very nice staff, clean rooms, comfy bed. Great experience!
we had a nice sized room. A bike storage room was certainly a plus, as we planned to ride the nearby Katy Trail several days. The staff was very friendly! The breakfast was good, and music each night at the Cellar bar was a plus, too!

Top Tips
- Request a room facing away from I-70. Many Warrenton hotels sit adjacent to Interstate 70; a room on the side opposite the highway can significantly reduce road noise, especially overnight.
- Verify vehicle and trailer parking before booking. Many I-70-adjacent motels offer free, at-grade lots, but specific oversized vehicle spaces are limited; call hotels to reserve a spot if you are arriving with a trailer, RV, or commercial vehicle.
- Confirm on-site dining and late-night options. Warrenton's dining selection is limited after 9-10 PM; if you expect a late arrival, choose hotels with 24-hour vending, microwave, or fridge access, or confirm local delivery options.
- Ask hotels about Wi-Fi speed and business amenities for remote work. Do not assume gigabit Wi-Fi; ask for measured Mbps (download/upload) and whether a business or meeting room exists, as many small-town chains have basic Wi-Fi that may fall below 10-20 Mbps during peak times.
- Consider expanded lodging options in St. Louis, but factor in the commute. Downtown St. Louis is approximately 50-60 miles east of Warrenton, with a 55-75 minute drive off-peak; book in Warrenton only if you need immediate I-70 access or for local events.
