The cleanliness, the large room, and the great breakfast, and the ambiance

Nice location.

Run Down Uncomfortable scratchy bedding and terrible beds. Room very large, but felt "bad" old, not cute old.

Breakfast could be better. Items were a bit cold and we realized too late there was a hidden microwave

The fireplace and the view are amazing

A little expensive for me. If it was cheaper I would have stayed longer.

The Colonial Inn was charming and spacious. The grounds were beautiful and close to the lake. There was plenty of room in the breakfast room to have breakfast with friends without feeling rushed or crowded. The rooms exceeded my expectations.

Room arrangement, size amenities, including fireplace and kitchen area. Good bed. Located in a nice area, good location.

Was quite hard to find the entrance, office. Needed better street signage. The room was musty, they had attempted to cover it up with spray, but not successful. Patio door wouldn't open, which limited ability to ventilate musty air.

I loved this hotel. I will be back. Location was great. Throwback feel was awesome. Cost amazing. Complimentary bfast. Outside seating. Pool. I'll be back...did I say that.

management was very helpful in changing our room to a quieter location. The room was great and the breakfast was alo great.

It is lovely and charming. Has a warmer feel than a chain hotel and is unique in it's history. It is very clean, close to the water, and serves a nice breakfast. Our room had a gas fireplace which was a nice touch.

This is better than a 2.5 star hotel. I like the quietness and the atmosphere. This was the best mattress I have ever slept on. Also, I liked the throwback to using keys again, instead of keycards.

The breakfast did not fit with the quality of the hotel.

The room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. We stayed in the older main building and it we loved it because it has so much character. We also loved the location and the fact that the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was so friendly and accomodating! Also the neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and clean. A plus was the well-mannered dogs everywhere!

The only drawback was the noisy window air unit...

The staff was excellent. The room was quaint. The pool and hot tub were nice. I like that breakfast included eggs and sausage, in addition to the usual cereal, waffles, yogurt.

It wasn't really close to anything. I was a little surprised that I had to clean the stray hairs and dirt in the corners of the bathrooms.

Very small bathroom for four people to share. A second room key would be handy. A microwave oven would be very nice!

I absolutely love Colonial Inn. It's a beautiful older manor that is well kept and beautifully decorated. Wrap around front porch is amazing. Room was spacious and clean. The staff I met - were very nice and took care of all my needs.

The hotel was very clean inside, they had a great breakfast, the bathroom was very nice and the beds were nice!!!

I love the colonial style. It was such a beautiful room that I wanted to stay longer but it was not possible. The breakfast setting was like a Buffet. It was one of the most beautiful hotels we've stayed in.

This hotel was so cute! Everything in the room coordinated, it was sparkling clean and no noise from nearby rooms. The staff was very helpful and polite. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

The location and the style of it. The breakfast was good too.

The room was not that clean. I could tell that there were shaving hair in parts of the sink area. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided.

The hotel has great character, and fits well with the ambiance of the resort community within which it is located.

Air conditioning effectiveness was rather marginal in coping with the very hot weather experienced during our stay. Time for hot water to reach our room in the morning was quite looooooog.
