Chateau Hotel New Orleans

They allowed us to have a late checkout (extra 1.5 hours), since OUR wedding ceremony got pushed back 2 hours due to the rain. Other than that, nothing.

Small rooms, no refrigerator, had to wait on repair man to fix tv, ice maker worked half the time, floors are very slick, & dealt with 2 women at the desk; 1 was cheesy & talkative and the other was very monotoned & act liked she didn't want to be there.

A very bad experience!

No power in our room. Then we were moved to a room with no air condition. Had to leave and find another hotel at12:30 am. I have been trying to get a refund but you can not speak to anyone in management.. The worst hotel experience of my life.

We would stay there again. The room and property was very authentic NOLA and location was amazing.

Parking is across the street.

Very rustic and characteristic of the area. Wonderful courtyard.

Room was a bit small TV very tiny Pool was more for wading vs swimming

Dry little light. Bulbs in lamps very weak.

The TV reception was not good at all. The plumbing, etc. seemed old, and water leaked onto the flow

The staff was nice, in the French quarter, historical.

Needs to be updated for the price.

LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT- SO HANDY TO BE ABLE TO WALK EVERYWHERE AND WE APPRECIATED THE SAFE PARKING AREA. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL

The staff weee able to meet my needs, free water, was a plus , early check in was accommodated

It was noisy, when other clients were coming up & down the stairs , you heard loud footsteps

Location was amazing! Staff was very nice and helpful.

Not that I actually needed it, but the hairdryer was not functional.

Room had no windows , bed was very very noisy, Hard to get up on it because it was so high off the floor , no in room coffee maker , so healed washcloth and towel with dried blood on them. Complained, got a small discount and moved to another room .

This beautiful hotel is located in the French Quarter which makes it easy to access your favorite food and drinks. The staff is very professional and friendly, and made our stay the best we've ever had. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly! Stay here

The pool was delightful.

Cigarette smoke kept coming in through the vents (possibly from another room) and we complained because it was a no smoking hotel. The hotel didn't offer to do anything about it really, they didn't move us or offer a discount and I'm heavily allergic.

the location.

run-down hotel, reception said all the showers don't drain because they were built below a certain level. their solution was to dry with towels. early a.m. cleaning noise hosing down the door and moving the patio furniture despite the do not disturb sign.

Location is great Atmosphere is great

Wi fi is weak Shower drain is bad / hot water comes and goes Outlets are hard to get to.

The room was small, but that's to be expected in this type of hotel and location.

Nice location and having a balcony was great (not all rooms have balcony)

Some updates / maintenance needed -- for example, problem with upstairs bathtub and bedside light bulb out

Location and the age of the building. Love the history of NO.

My bathroom was filthy. The cleaning was sub par

The bathroom was in need of a remodel...but it did work.

Amazing location in the french quarter, pretty courtyard/pool area and fun, unique room.

The walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbors a lot. TV didn't really work/come in clearly but we weren't in New Orleans to sit in and watch TV :)
