Maison St Charles

The location right on the St. Charles Street Car, security, and garden setting were all great about Maison St. Charles.

Bed is too high for short people. Had to use the chair to get into bed. I'm 5'2"

The pool and hot tub and the layout. Also great location with nearby restaurants and trolley access.

There was a mold smell in the first room they put me in. I had to move to another room and that room had a roach on the wall and the button settings on the A/C unit did not work so you could not change the settings or turn off.

Garden area was nice, as well as location. Breakfast was very nice. Staff very accommodating when items needed refills.

No bathroom ventilation. As others have said, other people's hair in bathroom and dirt in corners. Didn't like having to walk in circles due to entrances being chained shut.

Very nice courtyard and felt safe with 24 hour security

Lack of cleaning during my stay

The buildings were charming

The shower looked dirty and I felt uncomfortable showering in it. The sheets had a stain on them. The staff were not very welcoming or friendly.

The pool was great very clean

The water went out and the sink was clogged

The court yard and pool. Everything felt close there at the hotel. And it was gated.

They charge for breakfast.

The bed was super soft and cozy

The only thing was the crack under the door, it was easily able to get covered by towels, but that was the only issue. And of course, no free breakfast but that?s Okay

Mouse in room! Hotel door lock was broken off completely. Dirty underwear under pull out bed. Parking far away from hotel. Dirty bathtub. Big metal air filter cover hanging from ceiling.

Close to Trolley and restaurants

No complimentary continental breakfast...cereal, yogurt, fruit and bagels

The location

The fitness room. The equipment was not properly working.

We have stayed here before and always enjoyed our stay, but I believe they have actually improved the amount of amenities, cleanliness and the attractiveness of the site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

I've stated here previously and the location of the hotel is the best part and statff!

Only issues I had were with the room itself, multiple outlets did not work and we had very too little light in the room. Various laps were provided however, none would work because of the outlet issue.

Location is perfect for catching Mardi Gras!

Renovations are needed at this hotel. The water was luke warm at best for taking a shower.

The way I was treated by the front office. Staff feeding cats under the stairs (throwing wet food to the ground). Also, I was charged TWICE and I did not been refunded.

The hotel is perfect for Mardi Gras. It's right on St. Charles Avenue where all the parades pass by.

It could use some renovations in the rooms. The rooms are really dated and the water was barely warm for showering.

Bathroom was dirty but not terrible. The staff was very helpful and nice.
