Pros +
- Location
- Location and fantastic staff and service. There was free breakfast, free internet
- Everything was great.
Cons -
- Tiny room, only 1 small window in bathroom covered by a very dusty curtain. Keypad locks worked inconsistently. KASA checked us out 30 minutes early and changed door code so we couldn?t access our bags in room.
- I was satisfied with the hotel and the service of the staff
- The shower curtain was not long enough, so the bathroom floor got wet relatively quickly.

Location and friendly staff!
Need a microwave
I appreciated all of the staff and the amenities included in the stay. The pool and hot tub was close to all of the rooms and very comfortable to enjoy. The free water and tea in the lobby was nice when arriving or leaving the stay, and the staff was always friendly and helpful!
I think that the room was a little bit small and close to the pool, but it was worth what I paid for and was still and excellent stay overall!
Location was incredible.
The National Guard was hanging out inside our lobby and lounge area with machine guns on the tables. This is where we could’ve been hanging out as guests and where we would get coffee in the morning. Quite uncomfortable.
The staff was sensational, we loved the hot tub and pool space, our bed was super comfy, and the location is great for exploring the city! Security on the building was great- everyone got their own code into the building and there was always staff available to watch over things too.
Keep in mind this is a historic building on a popular street; it has its quirks and it can be loud at times. However, the staff provides earplugs and white noise machines.
Friendly staff, great location, and comfortable and clean rooms
Location was amazing, right at the end of Frenchmen Street near all the jazz clubs. The building was beautiful and full of history. The staff were super friendly and full of great trip recommendations.
The walls were pretty thin and a lot of noise from outside could be disruptive but the hotel provided complimentary earplugs.
It was clean and the staff were nice
Very basic small room and tiny bathroom, not good value for the rates they charged. Stayed afterwards in an historic inn nearby and rooms were amazing and paid less than we did at the Frenchmen. Good location but concentration of homeless people immediately around the hotel made it feel unsafe at night.
We liked the place once we moved from the first room we were assigned. Sleeping on ground level with a window to the sidewalks of Frenchmen St is not exactly peaceful. Fair enough but the room also was stinky like sewer gas. Once we moved to another room it was lovely.
Loud, which is sort of expected. Also lots of homeless hang out right around the hotel because the fire station is right across the street.
Lovely staff, clean room, great location, great bars and restaurants nearby.
Even when there was an issue with our fan, the staff moved us to a new room as soon as they could and called an engineer to fix the issue.

The room was secluded, and the sound of the water feature was very relaxing. It's our 5th visit since Covid and we really like the location and the atmosphere.
The jacuzzi still isn't working since our last visit in March, we really missed that. The lack of wardrobe in the room (there were 3 coat hangers) made us live out of cases for the 12 nights.
My husband and I celebrated 25 years of marriage with a group of family and friends all the way from Philly, New Jersey, Washington DC and California for our vow renewal. Erica and Bianca went above and beyond to make it smooth and enjoyable! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend it and make such awesome memories! Best trip in a long time!
The location, staff and general funkiness of The Frenchmen Hotel are its best features. I've stayed there a half-dozen times over the years and always have been satisfied.
The acquisition of this property by Kasa Living is positive overall, but the room prices have risen without a great deal of change to the amenities or the hotel. Sorry to see the free breakfast eliminated, and will await the opening of the not-finished Tiki Bar on the rooftop.
Friendly staff, great location, and comfortable and clean rooms
The staff were so pleasant and so helpful. The location is great, walking distance to all the fun. The two bedroom suite is huge and the roof top hang out spot was perfect to end our night on.
The near by premium parking was very expensive.
Loved the location of the property. The pool and hot tub was nice. Liked the funky decor.
No linens for the pull out sofa bed and it was not comfortable. Some of staff was not very friendly. Roof top bar was closed and no breakfast. Extra hidden charges and we had to park a block away.
