Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Downtown (French Quarter Area)

The hotel was close to Canal street and all of the downtown fun.

Several homeless are in the door wells for a few miles around this hotel. They don't seem to bother anyone but walking past them daily isn't what some may want to deal with.

The hotel staff admitted that the hotel has been having issues our room was hot without working air, the door jammed and there are stains on the carpet

Walking distance to Bourbon Street. Also, friendly front desk and valet staff! Room was also clean and comfortable.

Very big rooms. Easy to get in and out of the hotel.

The bed wasn't the best but it was OK. Bathroom floor tile was busted in a few places and looked like it needed to be cleaned.

The quiet environment, the comfort of the room and beds and it wasn't far from my destination.

The hotel was in walking distance to everything we needed. The staff were so nice & helpful.

The hotel room we had could?ve been cleaned better. The bathtub was a little dirty and there was somebody?s else?s hair on the sheets

I loved the peace, the cleanliest, most convienient place ever there is no better hotel I could?ve chosen other than this Hampton Inn this will always be my hotel home while visiting New Orleans. The front desk staff was amazing.

The room was good and clean and we were close to a lot of restaurants and music venues.

The staff was extremely rude to me and my friend who were staying. They double charged us and were short with us while we tried to resolve the issue. The only person who was kind was the manager. Ever other staff member was rude

Beautiful old hotel, nicely renn0vated a block from Bourbon St. We are 79& 83 & could easily walk to Harrahs & French Quarter.  The doorman, was super & directed us to where we wanted to go. The breakfasts were different every day & good.

Bath towels were like sandpaper. Young lady tending breakfast bar seemed very unhappy & not at all a people person.

Location was great, room was clean and welcomed me with my name on the tv, staff was amazing!

Elevator was extremely slow.

Valet lost our keys and it took several hours to recover them. The manager assured us we would get a refund and not have to pay the valet fee but we were never reimbursed for this which is why I am giving a low rating. It has been almost a week and a half

Hotel was ok but service was terrible

Service, hotel sent me to another hotel to stay the first night. Next day when I went back to the hotel I did not receive a room til 5pm

I like the location best since it is downtown and two blocks from Bourbon Street and Canal.

There were some individuals gathering outside the hotel. They weren¿t bothering anyone but it wasn¿t a good look for the hotel either.

Staff was so kind and helpful

Valet stopped at 6:30pm. Had to drive around to look for self parking

Close to French Quarters, but shady people along the street by hotel.

Ran out of toilet paper and tissue. Was not advised that clean towels and room service would not be provided. Took 2 hours to get clean towels delivered after a couple of calls.

Everything was clean. Great staff. Good breakfast

Mainly the constant people hanging around the entrance, specially at late night but guess that¿s just New Orleans.

When checking in their computers had been down and they weren¿t checking anyone in. Waited 2 hours to check in. There were people there longer then that. They should have a back plan. Awful experience.

The room was very spacious. The location made it easier to get around the area on foot. Everything we needed was within a mile of us. Very clean and inviting.
