Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans Downtown Near the French Quarter

The room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was damp and freezing. No windows.

Room was very small, room was not 100% clean, bed was a full NOT a queen.

Even though, my stay was prepaid, they placed regular incidentals on my credit card that was almost the same price that was paid for the room. When questioned about it, they changed it, but continued to change the amounts every single day that I stayed.

The rooms are tiny. Very noisy- you could hear music from the lobby all night on the secons floor.

They easily accommodated my floor number request. Good housekeeping, modern furnishings.

Panhandlers nearby and people sleeping on the sidewalks. The town is rather dumpy although the hotels are all very nice. There aren't any grocery stores and very little casual dining in the area.

I liked the location and the fact that there was a stop in front of the hotel for the trolleys. I wish there was parking available. Staff and rooms were very nice. Rooms were very clean and had lots of outlets for charging electronics..

I wish it allowed pets

They let me check in early which was nice because I had an earlier flight. The hotel food is basically microwaved but not terribly over priced and tastes decent.

They have roaches! I went to the bathroom at 4 am and saw a huge roach. Disgusting. I'had never stay her again.

Close to New Orleans best attractions, walking distance in fact!

Rooms were small and cleaning staff lied about not cleaning the room the Saturday of our stay. We left the hotel before 1pm and returned to an unclean room with a note on the floor saying they last checked at 330pm and we were still there. LIES!

Friendly staff on staff manager tried to accomdate us for other staff members giving away our room.

We had problems using the key card to get in the room.. the door stuck every time. There was also NO DOOR ON THE BATHROOM! I had to leave the room so my husband could go to bathroom.

Great location, close proximity to French Quarter. Although small, room was updated, comfortable and the A/C worked great (necessity for summer in New Orleans).

The TV in our room was too large for the space, it sits on the desk/dresser and takes up the entire top, blocking the lamp and coffee maker and limits the space. I would suggest to the property to consider mounting the TV to the wall.

The location was good for our purposes. Close enough to the convention center and close to the French quarter.

Yes, I was aware that they had just finished a renovation, but knew it would be over by the time we arrived. On our 2nd day we received notice the water would be turned off the next day from 9am-9pm. It was. I had planned to spend that day working inside

The size of the room for the cost was over rated. No window view just nothing. For the cost sadly disappointed.

The whole lobby and restaurant area was undergoing renovation. Quite a surprise.

Room super small. Once I laid out my suitcase on the luggage rack, I could barely open/close my room door. Had to request room service as my room did not include a refrigerator.

Location was fantastic. Updated room. Staff was very nice. No windows to outside in the room, but it wound up being a good thing, slept really well!

Construction going on

The location was perfect and very convenient for traveling. We were sble to pickup dinner and be back at the room in 10 minutes.

Hotel did not offer basic cable options,and our air conditioning unit omitted a musty smell a few times.
