The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some reviews said travelers had trouble with reservations that were made with the previous management. I called the hotel before leaving and was sent a new confirmation email. Check in was smooth.

The room was exactly as shown on the website but the picture did not prepare you for the actual size of the room. There was no wasted space.

I did not like the hotel room I was given. The room was still under construction and was very uncomfortable, luckily I only had to stay one night. The room was very hot, shower nob had fallen off, and the tv did not work.

Unfortunately what was offered by Hotel thru the Web page was not accurate. Not open Bar/Rest. Not working elevator, Problems with TV/control (no able to watch), Parking cost higher. No door to access the balcony, has to be thru the window.

The hallways atmosphere.

The elevator was out, first room I had a broke tv. second room the ac screeched, the tv didn?t work, smelled like mold, and it was basically a prison cell. The third rooms tv didn?t t work.,the small of pinesol burned my eyes and nose. Ac screeched

Absolutely nothing

Everything. The rooms were disgusting with a number of fluids including blood and urine on the mattress, smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals, and no extra mattress covers to cover the stains. Hotel features a rooftop bar but it was non-operational.

Staff was accommodating and was able to discount our room since they did not have our reservation info due to mgmt changes. We booked a standard room for $--- for a 2 night stay and were placed in a bigger room that was $---, discounted to $---.

A/C wasn't working very well but they did offer a box fan to use. It seemed like the power had just gone out and the fridge was dirty and not cold. Overall, okay but could use a good deep clean.

Only the location and staff were decent

The room smelled of mold, we spotted a huge rat, the place had lots of cosmetic issues, and there were zero amenities. The tv did not work, there were no blankets, and the bar was never open.

The location was convenient, but safety at night is questionable. The residents were quiet. The front desk was charming. Overall, okay hotel, but housekeeping and maintenance needs work!

The room had an extremely toxic ?PineSol? odor, had to sleep with the balcony door open. The shower curtain rings were rusty, the floor needs paint touch up. No iron or hair dryer in room. Massive amount of cigarette butts in plant on balcony.

Elevator not working. Air conditioning was intermittent. Refrigerator not working. Blinds would not close.

Do not book this hotel.

Centralized location to bourbon street and the superdome

Rented an apartment and it had no stove, no forks,no spoons. Limited kitchen essentials, No coffee pot, 800 knives(I exaggerate a bit). Bathroom had 4 body lotion and nothing else. The comparison would be camping with a comfortable bed. Paper thin walls

Location is really great for concert goers. Definitely a cute atmosphere in the communal spaces.

Some maintenance & cleaning issues. Discovered the ice machine was kind of gross, seems like it had not been cleaned. Some staff were really friendly other staff were indifferent.

Boutique style. Liked combo of inside and outside areas within hotel.

Weak water pressure in shower and took awhile for hot water. No microwave. Did have mini-fridge.

Location to the super dome.

Bar service was extremely slow. No water cups in the room. Metal wire for a shower curtain rod. No parking.

Best thing about this hotel is the proximity to music venues, restaurants, Bourbon Street, French Quarter - everything we wanted to do was easily within walking distance! The staff at the Selina was also kind and accommodating!

Though we enjoyed our stay, the room itself had its fair share of jank. -Towels were never replenished -No T.V. (not an amenity I'm used to actively checking for) -A.C. unit is located in the hallway, not the room.

The bar and front desk people were very friendly.

Water stains on the roof ceiling. No blankets only sheets available. Quad room was not explained as 4 bunk beds attached to the wall. I was told there would be 2 twin beds that could convert to a queen bed? That was not the case at all. Room was tight.

The lack of communication and the overcharge and deceit regarding the room assigned.

I didnt like that the A/C in the bedroom was loud and squeaky. It made it hard to sleep the whole night, even with the ear plugs provided...Also wish that the bar area provided one afternoon of live music or poetry or some sort of entertainment.

The pros of this hotel is the location. The scenery is great. Also the courtyard and aesthetics also like how the shower opened up to the balcony. The staff during the day also was really nice.

2nd night of my stay I had an unbelievable problem with bugs in my room.. literally a swarm, the front desk would not answer the phone. I literally had an anxiety attack because I couldn¿t even sleep. Also, didn¿t get any new towels my entire 3 day stay.
