I like the location but was not allowed to stay there.

They took my payment for the room and then told me my ID card is expired and they cannot let me stay there. They claimed they will refund my payment in 7 to 10 business days. I went to the HYATT and they gladly accepted me.

Beds were old, no microwave, bathroom seemed old as well.

Check in was great and the bed was comfortable.

The price was exorbitant -- we were there during Mardi Gras, but not there FOR Mardi Gras, so getting to the hotel was a pain, it was like the parades were in our room, and it wasn't worth the price I paid.

Great price centrally located.

WiFi was spotty and TV crooked on wall.

The location is wonderful

Hard beds and pillows, very thin walls, loud outside with trolly running all hours and construction across street which meant we didn’t get good rest the entire stay. Also there’s no microwave.

The staff was definitely my favorite part of my stay. I told them I was a little cold and two of them brought me a blanket before the end of the day.

I really didn't have anything I didn't like. The price was reasonable for what it was: a bed with comfortable atmospheric control.

Shower water would not drain. Ankle deep by time could finish shower. Reported twice but resolved during our stay.

Great location, walking distance to many things, grocery store nearby, free water, very clean, easy to check in and navigate.

The room is very dark specially at night as it does not have a ceiling light. The bulbs on the floor lamp and desk lamp are very dim. The room also did not have a microwave so I was not able to heat up any left overs.

The hotel staff were friendly and attentive to customer needs. I was able to access the room earlier than the official check-in time and was also given a room upgrade. The room was spacious & clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is located in a very central area, within walking distance of the French Quarter (approximately 15 minutes).

The room lighting arrangement is a bit dim. The only major issue was that the room was located at the back of the hotel, with the window positioned directly above the exhaust pipes / air-conditioning units. As a result, there was some background noise throughout the day and night. This may be inconvenient for guests who are light sleepers.

Very nice hotel with very good location. Helpful personal. Good 24/7 support by phone.

Very bad shampoo and hair conditioner. Better to have your own. In the evening water is quite cold. Plus heating system doesn’t work well, can be cold in nights in December. And there are very limited amount of blankets (not warm unfortunately).

It's a nice old hotel.

The steady nagging about the required pre-check-in was annoying. Some of us would prefer just to deal with it at the desk, even if it takes longer.

Desperately in need of an upgrade. The water did not get hot, the bathroom floor was not clean. The T.V. In the sitting area of the room did not work. You could expect the ghost of Christmas past at any time.

Nice style and historic furnishings. Staff were very helpful.

I prefer a few more amenities. Poor room lighting. Torn sheer curtains. An extra blanket would have been useful due to the cold weather because the air conditioning was set to cool not heat.

Beautiful building with very nice rooms. The staff were lovely too! Additionally, it was fantastic value for money, right in the place we most wanted to be.

Walls are VERY thin, and can hear whole conversations in other rooms from the corridor.

There was no housekeeping service during the stay for four days. No shampoo in the restroom, filthy toilet. Horrible hotel.

Location was very convenient for my plans in town. Staff is friendly and helpful. Older building with charming, classy esthetics. Room was clean and comfortable. Amenities and toiletries provided were high quality. Water pressure in the shower was great.

Vehicles going by outside can be noisy at night. Didn't enjoy the texture of the bathroom towels.

Room is small, but it was clean. The location is great...near the World War II museum and the parade route. Automatic check in and door opening with a code was convenient.

Elevators both went down. However, it was resolved the same day. Parking is a block away, but expensive at $50/day. Not a great value. It didn't even look like it had security. No gates, we just drove in and out without anyone there.
