- Super friendly front desk staff, very secure and parking is awesome.
Cons -
- room could use a mini fridge vs end table ,it was a smal,l ok for 2 people
- The room (27) was very small with no space for clothes, no vanity shelf, only one towel bar. The beautiful plantation window opened to a staircase (no view at all). We selected "Yes, recommend" hoping there are better rooms.

Very close to Bourbon Street
It is a great location for any sites you would want to visit in the Quarter and very close to Bourbon St.
Location and staff
No hot water at times
It was in the heart of the French quarter.. the building is true to its heritage which is beautiful The courtyard is amazing2 doors down from Elvis sang craw fish
As with an aged building there are no lifts
I love this hotel have stayed a couple times now! Staff is always wonderful the only problem I had was the bath tub vents were dirty. Other than that beautiful!!
Dirty bathtub vents.
The locations was superb for exploring Royal Street and far enough off of Bourbon street to avoid the loud late night partying vibe. The front desk workers were kind enough to store our luggage post cruise so we could explore the French quarter!
Our shower was cold. No hot water at all...
It's an old hotel so you can't expect mod cons but the coffee machine cable wasn't long enough to plug in so we had to move it. There weren't enough sockets , one lamp was broken , the bedding and towels were very clean and too quality though and we were only there for three nights so it was OK. The staff were brilliant, very friendly . Overall, we enjoyed our stay
The louvre doors didn't close properly as they were very old
You get the real French Quarter experience! The hotel has so much charm! The location is perfectly close to Bourbon Street and within easy walking distance to any attractions. The neighborhood is quieter than those closer to the pub hub.
The building is wonderfully maintained but with any older facility there are structural and equipment challenges that you should expect. For those unable to traverse stairs, there is no elevator. The amazing staff will help you with your luggage. We were on the ground floor so there was no problem.
I liked the location and look of the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
One of rooms needed a sofa or more places to sit inside. Also, one of the rooms didn’t seem to have access to the balcony like I requested.
Location
Room was dirty and I was put on top floor had to go up 4 flights of stairs! No elevator! I am 69 years old. Floor was dirty, everything dusty! And A/C kept making noises that kept me up all night! Shower head wasn't working! Terrible stay!
Great location, beautiful courtyard, close to everything, awesome staff
Tv didn’t work for us at all and the heat / ac wasn’t working
The location is excellent. Staff were wonderful and very friendly.
Our mini fridge didn’t work. Even when maintenance came to fix it. Our thermostat stopped working first day. Bathroom water doesn’t stay hot for very long. First person might get a full hot shower. But not guaranteed. Room faced street and could hear EVERYTHING. Super dusty behind bed and under sink. Other room our group had bathroom light wouldn’t turn off.
Location was perfect, short walking distance from all attractions. Bed was large and comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room was very small for a "deluxe" room. Insufficient room for luggage, outside nightlight remained on all night and kept us awake. Hot water was a problem: The first day there was none and maintenance had to repair it; on subsequent days it took several minutes to come through. Insufficient towel racks in the bathroom, doorknob came off during our stay. This room should never have been listed as "deluxe". It was entirely misleading. It was basic and bare with no amenities such as decorations, robes, and a more well maintained appearance. I would have booked a different hotel if I had known.

Location was great.
Room was nice but not exactly what I saw in the pictures. Jets in the tub did not work and had some sort of dirty build up around them. Hot water for the shower was not very hot but water in bathroom sink was very hot. Overall was a good place to stay, these are just suggestions for improvements.
Location is great. Parking was close. Front desk staff was so friendly.
Everything good!
My stay was amazing! Macy at the front desk made me feel so comfortable and welcomed! The hotel is very old and has a lot of history, which you can feel during your stay here. The stairs were noisy but I didn't mind at all, I got a good nights rest every night I stayed there. Also, the location is EVERYTHING, literally walking distance to many restaurants and sightseeing locals (a lot to do nearby) and you get to see beautiful views of the city and the Mississippi River. Highly recommend staying here!
The restroom sink could be better!
Felt small/intimate, not overwhelming with people. The location was also really great since it is close to everything.
Very thin walls. Getting sleep was a little challenging at certain times.
