Le Richelieu Hotel

Location was perfect.....close enough to river walk, bourbon st, etc.

We could hear the people next door talking probably due to the room having adjoining doors. Also, there was a towel and cup on the room balcony when we checked in. Also at 4am my car picked up video of person pulling on car handles in the lot.

The location is walking distance to many French Quarter Marketplace stores and restaraunts.

The street sounds with people and vehicles at all times of night.

I loved the staff, location, set up of the 2 room suite. The price was amazing!! I will only be staying here from now on.

The bathroom had a bit of a film from cleaning products. It’s not a big deal, but it took more effort for me to clean before we used it.

Walking distance to everything was good

Rooms are very noisy and not at all insulated. The hallways are echo chambers and the amount of noise makes it very hard to sleep

Atmosphere, architecture and privacy.

Knowing I was a local & industry professional (retired), the room was standard. I could have asked to change. It was a great experience I've been curious about.

Great location, 2 blocks off Bourbon St. Nice and quiet. Very walkable. Comfortable.

Wish they would open the lounge.

This is a gem in the middle of the French Quarter! It's a perfect hotel for history and that New Orleans flare. The staff was extremely helpful and a 5 star quality in Customer Service. We will definitely be back!

The only downside I could see was that the kitchen closed at 2pm.

Three generations of my family have been staying at the Le Richelieu since the 1960's. The mere fact that we keep going back speaks volumes!

Location , reaxed , quiet

The location is fantastic. It has just the feeling that I expected from a hotel in the French Quarter.

The weather was on the cold side and I could not heat the room. I was told that heat didn't come on until the temperature reached 50 degrees.

We stayed in the King Suite, what a jaw dropping experience.Beautiful and unique to the area.Our friends stayed in a traditional Queen room and their room was great as well, both great values. Perfect location to walk anywhere in French Quarter or Marigny

Situated in a lovely part of the French Quarter, yet just steps away from the heart of the all action: the music on Frenchmen, the incredible Creole cuisine just blocks away, so many unique shops & galleries, Le Richelieu is historic, unique & welcoming.

The biggest complaint is that we ever had to leave. Be aware, however, that the rooms are each rather unique & vary in view & layout. You may have a balcony overlooking Chartres or Barracks, or you may be facing the parking lot. All are lovely.

The location is great, off street parking is available, close to many great restaurants and the French Market.

Staff was very friendly. Allowed us to check in super early which was great cause we bussed in and had several bags we didn't want to lug around. Close to the party but far enough away not to be too loud.

Despite being close to everything in the French Quarter, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful.

Wifi was sporadic & my room had no work desk; if these things are important to you, try to request a room that has these features.

Friendly staff, cleanliness, parking rate cheapest in area with close proximity to hotel.

Room was quite small and only one little window.

Cooling unit appeared to have no temperature adjustment only fan speed.

Exceptionally clean! Most of the staff were great especially the Housekeeping staff.

No coffee makers in rooms. I felt the morning Front Desk clerk was abrupt and a little condescending.
