Pros +
- The location was great. Very authentic experience living in the French Quarter. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean.
- Location, location, location. And for being 2 blocks from Bourbon Street, it was generally quite quiet.
- This hotel had a lot of charm and character.
Cons -
- No elevator. Many steps up to the 3rd floor. It would have been nice if there was a small refrigerator in the room.
- The hotel actually consists of two buildings across St. Ann from each other. We could not get WiFi in the annex building (but WiFi was pretty much instantaneous in the lobby of the inn).

Rooms were not up to par
This hotel had a lot of charm and character.
Parking was difficult since it is only off street parking.
location
it was way outdated compared to their online pictures.
Location and decor.
The location and price was amazing.
The sheets were not clean when arriving.
Location
No A/C in my room. It was 83 degrees. I spoke on it several times and no one tried to help til my last night. Supposed to have gotten a discount that I haven't yet to receive
Friendly staff. Always clean!
Parking sometimes but nothing they can do about it.
Duane and the other employees were all very nice and accommodating. Very clean rooms and in the perfect location.
Location to bourbon street was fantastic and the price was great.
Very small bathroom. Didn’t have much interaction with staff. No one was there when we checked out.
Excellent location, in the quarter, but not in the mess of it. Historical building! Definitely would recommend and stay again.
located on 2nd floor, comfy bed
not what pics looked like. room was tiny, bed was against wall only one way to get in and out of bed. if you crawled to foot of the bed you had to maneuver around a foundation pole. would be great for single sleeper.
location was good as far as to walk the French quarter, bed was comfy and room was clean.
pictures on web were a bit deceiving; pics are from sister property's patio. you can use that property though. our place was across the street 3rd floor no elevator. my biggest disappointment was the day before we left, I straightened up the room and grouped all our souvenirs into 2 bags which I placed in the closet next to the luggage. the next day I went to pack and one of the gift bags was missing. went downstairs and checked the trash out front. it had trash from all 3 rooms I booked (3 rooms for friends and family). souvenir bag was nowhere to be found. Later on that day I went out to the second floor balcony looked down and in the small trash can I saw some drink trinkets (the little souvenir toys that come with signature drinks example toy shark for the famous shark bite drink) anyway, I thought that was weird, went down and dug through it only to find my bag of souvenirs covered with cigarette butts. some things were still missing but my husband's new Harley shirt which was wrapped in a new bag inside of that bag was there. I reported it 2x while I was there and 3 phone calls after the trip, nothing was ever reported back to me about the few missing Items.
price, location from French quarter, comfy bed
first room they put us in the AC was broke, they moved us to new room. we had to ask for towels. Ironically the towels were left on small chair under AC unit which happened to drip and soaked everything.
Everything was great other than a robbery across from our room .
Someone had busted in to a room across from us in the middle of that night , I heard the ruckus but was to afraid to open my door.
It’s a good location in the French Quarter. The front desk at their sister hotel were very kind. I knew ahead of time there might not be staff at my hotel.
I’m not even sure if I was in this hotel because they put me across the street and it didn’t have the same name on things (it said French Quarter Guest House). I was in room #43 and the shower had a slant in it that made it difficult for anyone taller than me at 5’4” and the hot was cold and the cold was hot which I didn’t know (FYI if you stay in this room). Also there was a place for my smoke alarm but no smoke alarm was there.
It was perfect! Great location, Dewayne was so helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t love.
Clean bathroom
Reported coffee maker was broken so they unplugged it and left it. Staff remade the bed but didn’t change the sheets. No windows. Bed tilted towards headboard not comfortable. Fireplace blocked entry to be side of bed and bathroom door. Only saw staff at front desk twice my entire 3 day stay. They seemed bothered when I spoke to them.
Very close to the shops and Bourbon St.
1st floor walls are paper thin. You can hear everything in the hallway lol
